Description

The HALO SleepSackSwaddle replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby’s face and interfere with breathing. In addition to helping your baby sleep safer, it helps him sleep better, too. Its adjustable swaddle wrap immobilizes your baby's arms to prevent the "Moro" or startle reflex. And, it is the only 3-way adjustable swaddle that adjusts to your baby’s sleep style. Swaddle arms in, hands-to-face for self-soothing, one or both arms out to ensure baby’s best sleep and an easy and gentle transition to the SleepSack wearable blanket when it is time to stop swaddling. Its strong adjustable fasteners ensure a perfect fit and resist breakouts for more secure swaddling. Plus, its innovative zipper unzips from the bottom allowing your baby to stay swaddled for easy diaper changes. Made from 100% polyester microfleece fabric, the layers of sleepsack and swaddle provide a TOG rating of 3.0, ideal for chilly seasons and climates and keeping newborns warm and comfortable in any climate. Super-soft micro-fleece fabric is plush inside and out and is designed to wick away moisture. Size Small is designed to fit babies weighing between 13 and 16 pounds, who are generally 3 to 6 months old and 23 to 26 inches long. Discontinue swaddling when the baby shows signs of rolling over or breaking out of the swaddle wrap.

  • Perfect for older infants!
Color: Baby Blue Size: Small (Pack of 1)
I bought this as a replacement for a smaller size I had from a second-hand store. This wrap is awesome! My son just turned 3 mos, weighs about 15 lbs, and is about 23 inches. He is in size 3-6 mos clothes, and still sleeps so much better when swaddled. The sizing is perfect for an older infant, not too tight, and has room to stretch and kick his legs inside the sack with 2-3 inches to grow. I love that there are multiple ways to wear this with his arms pinned to his sides, or with hands up near his face since he has started to self-soothe by sucking on his hands, or with arms out with the wrap around his middle for those chilly mornings. The upside-down zipper makes for easy nighttime diaper changes so I don't have to take him completely out of the wrap to have access. However, I always have trouble lining up the zipper correctly when initially placing him in the wrap, especially in a room lit only by night light and he is squirming, kicking, and fussing. There has also been a few incidents where the zipper became partially separated while he was wearing it overnight, and I had a bit of trouble getting it to unzip to take him out of the wrap in the morning. He usually just wears a cotton snap-up sleeper underneath and it keeps him the perfect temperature, since I turn down the heat to 67 degrees at night and always worry about keeping him warm enough, but I don't worry with this! He does get a little too warm before bed sometimes if he's fussy, as crying makes him sweaty anyway, but that tends to happen regardless so I usually just turn the ceiling fan on until he cools down a bit. And since I don't have to add a blanket on top at night to keep him warm, I don't worry so much about suffocation from accidentally getting a blanket over his face. The arm wrap secures with two long strips of strong Velcro that, even with his growing strength, he still hasn't managed to break out of. I plan to use this wrap over the winter instead of blankets at night, and like that it can transition with him when he no longer needs swaddled. A word of advice: When washing these, I place it inside a garment bag first (unless you intend to wash it separately) because that super-strong Velcro sticks to other clothing items and can snag or damage them in the wash. A garment bag will protect those cute little baby clothes! ... show more

  • Good sleepsack
Color: Daisy Size: Newborn (Pack of 1)
This is an amazing product. We have been using it every night for my newborn. It keeps her warm and tight when she sleeps in her bassinet. The only issue is that it's very easy for her to release her hands and brings them out. But my baby likes to put her hands next to her head, so it worked out fine for us. ... show more

  • Great For Baby
Color: Cozy Pandas Size: Small (Pack of 1)
This sleepsack is very well made with adorable patterns and incredibly soft fabric. It keeps our baby warm and cozy, and the material is sturdy enough to gently hold his arms in place without waking him. Since we started using these, he’s been sleeping so much better and rarely wiggles his arms free. Highly recommend for better sleep and peace of mind! ... show more

  • A must have for my son
Color: Cozy Pandas Size: Small (Pack of 1)
My baby hates having his arms restricted so this blanket is perfect. The fleece is warm and very soft. It washes well but we keep it folded so the velcro doesn't bunch up.

  • Very hot thick material
Color: Daisy Size: Newborn (Pack of 1)
I didn’t realize it was fleece when I bought it, but I love the halo swaddles and if it’s winter and you’re in a cold climate I recommend. It is soft and I like the color

  • Life saver!
Color: Cream Size: Newborn (Pack of 1)
My daughter was born a little over a month ago and they use these in the hospital. They also gave us one to take home and she loved it. She would cry a lot if she wasn't snuggled up in this. We tried to use a blanket, but it wasn't as secure for her and she would still fuss. One just wasn't enough as we had to constantly wash it and then she didn't have it while it was washing, so I decided to buy her another one. She is getting bigger now but still loves it. She mainly just uses this at night, but it helps her sleep through the night. One night, one was dirty and she threw up on the other, so we had to put her to bed without one while they washed. She slept horrible! She constantly woke up and fussed. As soon as they were dry, I put one on her and she fell asleep within a few minutes and slept until it was time for her to have another bottle. These are miracle workers! One of these is not enough, but they are a bit expensive, especially on top of everything else you need for a baby. I recommend putting a few of these on your baby registry so you are prepared! This product is extremely easy to use. The only minor issue is that the velcro is a bit loud and may wake the baby at night during diaper changes. You can get around that when they are born by not undoing the velcro and just unzipping the bottom, but that doesn't work as they get older. The only other issue I have now is that it is getting warmer out and she gets too hot in this. As I stated before, blankets aren't good enough for her partly because I a terrible at wrapping her with them! So while this product is perfect for colder days, it is not so great for warmer weather. You can put them in in and leave their arms out, but my daughter doesn't like that as much. ... show more

  • Finally some sleep for both of us
Color: Cream Size: Small (Pack of 1)
This sleep sack has been one of the best baby products I've purchased. With my first child, I did not have a HALO sleep sack and instead I used a variety of sleep bags, swaddle blankets, zipper stretchy sacks... even resorted to strips of duct tape to keep them closed to prevent baby girl from breaking free and creating a suffocation hazard. As an aerospace engineer, I was confident I could swaddle a baby, but I had a wiggly, super human, monkey baby ninja that would be sleeping soundly one minute and the next have a hand free smacking herself in the face. The dark circles under my eyes were prominent. For my second child, who also has magician like escape abilities, I received this HALO sleep sack as a gift at our baby sprinkle and have since bought 2 more! I recently read that hospitals are moving from swaddle blankets to sleep sacks like this because they are safer and I agree. Here is my "PRO" list: 1. Stays in place away from baby's face because it is worn like a vest = I can sleep at night instead of checking to see if baby's face is clear. 2. Stays in place around arms. This is some industrial strength velcro people. If you wrap it tight the arms will stay put. 3. Zipper starts at top and zips down towards feet = easy diaper changes without taking off entire sack. 4. Can be worn 2 ways, arms in or out. Actually, I use it 3 ways, including one arm in and one out when baby is starting to be able to roll and as a transition from arms all the way in. 5. Comes in warm and cool weight fabric versions. CONS: The strong velcro that keeps baby in is also very loud if you need to open it. With the warm fleece version, I found it tricky to breastfeed with the baby swaddled because of the extra fabric between us, but it is doable. I prefer to open it but the velcro wakes him up. ... show more
