I purchased this holiday tablecloth to be used on my kitchen table for Christmas Eve. We're a big crowd with tons of food being staged on the table. I knew there would be spills of drinks & food. I really didn't care too much because the tablecloth was reasonably priced, so my thoughts were that even if it gets stained, & they don't come out in the wash, for the price I'll just dispose of it. Yes, people spilled wine, red sauce from the lobster ravioli, butter, etc. To my surprise, the wine beaded up, & never penetrated the fabric, the red sauce just wiped up with a wet soapy sponge, butter too didn't penetrate.
