These candles work great and look great. I will note that the white plastic candles are somewhat translucent, so the battery color may show through slightly. Silver batteries such as energizers may look better in them. The sticker hooks worked great. These candles have been hanging from my ceiling for a week with no sign of falling down. My ceiling is painted drywall. To hang the hooks, first make sure the ceiling is clean of dust, and dry. Remove the plastic backing, and do not touch the sticky part. Press the sticker to the ceiling, and press the center firmly. Then press all parts of the sticker tight to the ceiling so there are minimal air gaps - you can see this through the clear plastic. It took me about 10 seconds to hang each hook doing this method. After this, I hung the candle. The only potential negative is that 2 candles seem to have somewhat intermittent battery connections, and sometimes turned off, or turned on unexpectedly. Tightening the cap may fix it, or a small piece of foil around the inside of the battery compartment cap. Overall, they work great and the remote control is very convenient.

So magical! These come with a hook already attached and the sticky holders to attach them to. We tied them near the hook so they hang at different levels. Once on, they look so magical! Dim, reflective of a candle flickering. Takes AA batteries (a lot of them) but so far they’ve lasted all October. The wand remote works perfectly, I haven’t experienced any issues with it. My one complaint is I have 1 candle that, no matter what, turns on randomly. That one, which is on 24/7, is starting to die. All the others candles though stay off when we want and on when we want.

The media could not be loaded. Be aware: some of the pics and videos on here do not match the candles you will get. They are slim and smooth, not chunky dripping wax. They're also smaller than you'd think, about the length of a pencil. That being said, I think they're great. With the lights off you can't see the fishing line and they really appear to float. Cons: no flicker. It says they flicker but it is so subtle that looking at them hanging you can't see it. I took off one star because the wand makes a loud click when you tune them on or off, which totally spoils the magic effect of making it look like the wand is doing it. I really wish the wand buttons were silent. Last con: they each take a AAA battery, so be prepared to spend $15-20 a season just on batteries! I don't know how long the batteries last yet. I'll update if they don’t last til Halloween.

If your thinking of purchasing these Do It!My order came early they were bought at Christmas they were so magical I bought 2 more boxes the night came as my husband was hanging them my 16 son came in whole we were hanging them and asked if we could get some his bedroom.My Great Hall will stay up all year long these aren't just decoration they are my new must have.They really look like they are floating I'm telling you my inner child was happy,I cried when I realized just how beautiful and necessary they are in my world.Hope you are as pleased with them as I am.

Would have been great if all the candles worked. Definitely smaller than they used to be. 1 of 12 simply wouldn't light and I tried everything to make it work. Got them on sale, so not worth sending back. Wand works perfectly. Be careful where you put them as they will take paint off your ceiling. They do however have a glow. Quality overall seems lesser than previous versions.

The media could not be loaded. I got this floating candles to decorate my fireplace, they are cute and easy to install. Love the remote control because it’s easy to turn them on and off. Just be careful when putting the batteries, I put them backward and the candle didn’t turn on and started getting hot, I notice right away and corrected the batteries and it light up.! One of the candles didn’t work, that was disappointing, but the ones that work look pretty hanging! If there was one thing to change would be the batteries, I wish they came with the coin batteries because in the day time you could see the batteries thru the plastic, but to me that’s not a deal breaker. I’m buying another box for my Halloween decorations outside
