I purchased ALL the ornaments, however they are from different sellers, this review is for the "Death Star tree topper", it will kinda be all inclusive of all the ornaments as it's hard not to do so. I will leave basically the same review on the others as well, because honestly they all came basically as indicated and all work Fantastic and each Seller should get their independent reviews. Each of my "Bottom line"'s will be ornament/seller specific. (I just don't want to have to Type very similar reviews 7 times!). I rarely do reviews but had too for this, so I'm just going to apologize now.😁 Bottom line - This particular ornament "Death Star tree topper" was perfect in packaging, shipping was very timely, works as stated and came packaged well protected, Tree Topper looks great, great seller! A really neat lightsaber infrared controller to kick things off! If you have any of the other ornaments, by triggering the Death Star, it will trigger the other ornaments as well to interact with it. Note - It has it's own dialogue lines from other characters not represented by the other ornaments, if you have other ornaments! A bit pricey though, I gave on "value for the money" 4 stars only because it's Hallmark using the Star Wars franchise name for all its worth and then some. Not because it's not a value unto itself if you get my meaning. Wish there was volume control, however it is only a very slight drawback. Nothing to stop you from getting this. This Tree Topper DOES come with it's own power cord. Whereas the Ornaments themselves do Not. I was fighting cancer hard when these ornaments first started coming out and missed some of the original pricing, so some are a slight bit more than maybe they should be, check all sellers, however So Worth it!! I was 12 when the movie came out, saw it first day, first showing... This is a must have for a Star Wars Fan hands down!! The technology being used is fantastic! Each ornament that gets plugged into the chain of the power cord(sold separately) adds more dialogue that is said to the previous one/one's and so on and so on, untill ultimately there is a full 12+ minutes of dialogue and lighting interaction between ALL the ornaments AND the tree topper "Death Star"! It highlights the dialogue up until they are boarding the Millennium Falcon on the Death Star, Obi-Wan and Darth Vader's duel. All Original movie voicing and music is used! (If you didn't know all of this already.) (Also, If you haven't, look up a YouTube vid. on these!) I didn't actually buy this "set" for our tree, although it does have very sturdy hangers on all the ornaments to use as intended. As a Star Wars fan it will be displayed in our hutch, it's that impressive! All ornaments, as well as the tree topper, have have four "feet" to be able to sit on a shelf, in a hutch, etc.. The lighting on the ornaments are multi-colored and colors change and correspond to each character when a specific character it talking, even when there are two characters in one ornament. When static, there is constant illumination on the base with the character color and two led lights that shine up from the base to illuminate the ornaments character/characters as well. Really can't emphasize how cool these are! Overall, again, Impressive, Most Impressive!😉

The media could not be loaded. The Death Star tree topper is great & made my husband so happy! It has its own cord to plug into the wall & remote control shaped like a light saber. Our only complaint is with the mounting - we'll be trying to create something next year to make it more balanced as it is very top-heavy on whichever side you affix the post & Velcro mechanism.

This totally elevated my husband’s Star Wars tree!! I love that there were ornaments sold separately that interacted with it as well. Comes with an awesome little saber remote, and looks exactly as pictured. Another plus is that the Death Star comes with a support pole to ensure it doesn’t tip/droop due to weight. I searched high and low for the Death Star Tree Topper for a few months now. Luckily I was able to order it from Amazon.com, being from Canada it is not often the opportunity of shipping is available. Brand new still in the packaging and it came a few days earlier. So very pleased with the Tree Topper. Any Star Wars fan needs to have the Death Star Topper. It will be used at Christmas on the tree, but afterward, it will be on display 24-7. The lights and music are great. A++++

I'm using it on a table, not a tree, as a year-round display. I really wish there was a volume control to lower the sound because it's very loud for my small space. But I love it anyway! To clarify: the Death Star comes with a power cord that lights it (no music). If you also have the character ornaments, they need to be connected to each other with the Keepsake Power Cord (sold separately). The cord can connect 7 ornaments, so I connected the 6 characters that interact with the Death Star, plus I added the Merriest House in the Galaxy (which doesn't Storytell but it lights up and plays LOUD music when its button is pressed). The Death Star does NOT connect to the Keepsake Power Cord, it pairs remotely with the ornaments to do the light/sound show. It's a fun display. If anyone has a suggestion about how to dampen the volume, please post that info!

This did not disappoint… we just love it! We’re not using it on our tree, but keeping it out year round on the bar in our great room. Love the light saber control where it goes into full on light saber sounds and then blasts the Star Wars theme like it does the opening credits. Can’t say enough great things about it!!
