Great light duty helmet with cool, retro, Cop Styling. Its has a snap on visor that really helps with the sun on long rides and the wrap around leatherette collar also snaps in and out. This light duty helmet is great for warmer days but, when the weather cools off, you can snap in the wraparound collar to cover your neck and ears. This is awesome as the weather gets cooler. The neck strap comes with a quick release clasp that is super handy if your out riding and need to take the helmet on and off a lot. Easy to get the perfect fit with this style clasp.The helmet has DOT decal on the back but I doubt this is actually DOT rated if that matters to you. Overall very good value for a lightweight helmet.

This is a good-quality helmet - safe and certified. I got it as an alternate to a full helmet for daily use. It is comfortable, good fitting, has a great strap fitting / quick release. Everything about it is good. I was not prepared for the wind noise, though. Much louder that my full helmet. Loud enough that I don't use the helmet very much. I have ear plugs - that I wear when I use a chain saw or go target shooting. That solves the noise problem, but they aren't always handy and are a nuisance. Maybe it's just me: I like the helmet, but don't use it much because the wind noise bothers me. I save it for guest riders anymore and for its good looks 'cause my daily rider helmet looks like it has had some hard times. Hope four stars is fair under the circumstances.

The helmet fits as well as the $200 one it replaces. Even without the extra ear covering, the wind somehow does not drown out the sounds around me. Great for hot sunny days. As a bonus, the red color matches my Kawasaki Vulcan perfectly.
