I read the most recent review and began plotting my plan of attack until I realized that these do indeed just plug in. The problem with the instructions is that they don't make it as obvious as it is. Simply take off your old light, screw off the bulb boots from the top and bottom location, remove the top bulb from the wiring harness and plug the led harness into where you just removed the top buld, put the bulb boots on the new light and reassemble in reverse order. ... show more

It’s not plug and play for the tail light/brake light. These trucks have bulbs wired in for the taillight/ brake lights you will have to cut, strip and wire them in. The only plug and play part about this product is the light above the back cab window. And I have to write 100 characters to submit this review so I’m sure that’s why more people haven’t done it. ... show more

Got these new tail lights for my 2001 ram 1500 to replace my other ones after I accidentally backed into a cement post in a parking garage and cracked one. Easy 5-10 min swap. Resistor integrated so you don’t have a flicker issue. I have LEDs for my brake lights which I left in place. Time will tell if they hold up but so far I’m pleased. ... show more

    • The blinkers do not work. When you turn on your blinker. There is no flicker of the blinker.
