This is my 2nd charger purchase. The first one lasted about 2.5 years, which is pretty good. You have to understand that something will eventually wear out or stop working over time with all the retractable motions. The retractable cords are plenty long enough and very sturdy. The base also gives you an extra usb connection. I think it’s a pretty good charger for the price. It is kinda bulky and takes up quite a bit of space and that would be my biggest knock on the device. Otherwise, it is and does exactly what you’d expect from it.

Handy Item for the glove box. My Corvette has a charging port in the console but it isn’t easily accessible to the passenger (my wife) with this charger I plug it into what used to be called a cigarette lighter and she can charge several devices quickly and easily. Win/Win!
