I bought this mannequin to practice braiding. There is a little shedding but no balding. I have also used flat irons on 410 and the hair straightened just fine. The hair was soft and straight. It didn’t burn like I thought it would.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas, because I got tired of buying the "Barbie" brand (limited usage). She was thrilled when she opened her gift. The hair is soft and so far is doing well. It has a little shedding here and there which is expected, but so far we are pleased especially with the price I paid. She even has started putting make up on the mannequin head. :) Looking forward to teaching her new things and trying new styles. The media could not be loaded. I love it. It met expectations. I bought this to learn to braid with extensions and work on sewing and crocheting. I believe with the thickness and texture of the hair it will do the job. The table clamp was a plus so I am very satisfied

So far I like what I am seeing. The hair is soft and has a nice curl pattern to it. Definitely not KINKY hair at all, but i knew that based off the previous reviews. Her hair doesnt fall out, but this is day 1. I do plan on training on it for braids and mastering cornrows and such. But overall i am satisfied. Did not take long to arrive! ... show more
