I wanted to try a wig to change my hairstyle without committing to a haircut. I didn’t want to invest a lot in a wig that I was only going to wear occasionally. Most wigs at this price point tended to be poor quality and poorly made. I stumbled across Haircube and decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. Haircube also has a great return policy, if you’re not happy you can return it. This is by no means a high end wig but it’s well made and has features similar to the higher quality wigs. For synthetic hair it’s very realistic and I was able to style it to mimic my hairstyle. Although it’s considered heat friendly I wouldn’t recommend using a curling iron. I tried using my t3 curling iron on the lowest setting on the bangs and it left them a little stiff. I was able to correct it with brushing and hairspray. I did have to play around with the wig to get it to tone down some of the volume. After brushing, spraying and wearing it for awhile it looked like my real hair. I still thought that my friends and family would be able to tell that I was wearing a wig so I put it to the test. I walked up to my husband and he didn’t notice. He just thought I had styled my hair with the curling iron. Next I posted a picture on Facebook, friends and other family members commented on how great my hair looked. I ordered the dark brown and it has highlights and shading that matches my hair perfectly. After wearing it all day and even encountering some wind, the wig was comfortable and stayed in place. I did wear a velvet wig grip to keep the wig from shifting and sliding. I was so impressed with Haircube that I ordered two more wigs in different styles. Update February 23, 2023: I’ve worn this wig numerous times and no one knows it’s a wig. I was shopping at a friend’s boutique and she told me that my hair looked so good. Based on all the great reviews & all the photos of women who purchased this wig, wearing it, I felt confident in purchasing this. Due to a combination of reasons, I've found myself basically bald with sparse patches of hair. I've been trying to use tape-ins with what little hair I have left but due to more baldness than hair, it's difficult to get a realistic look. Therefore, I thought I'd try a wig as it would be easier to maintain as well as allow my natural hair to grow back in without the stress of tape. From all the reviews & photos this wig appeared to be very realistic looking, simply based on all the photos shared by other women wearing it. I was so excited when this arrived today, the color was great, then I tried it on. I'm beyond clueless on how this could be the same wig shown in the photos. There is zero chance of this wig I received ever looking realistic simply due to it having more hair than is ever humanly possible, in addition saying this wig is lightweight is a joke. The wig in the photos show women wearing it behind their ears, in clips, doesn't appear to be too thick, etc. This wig I received looks like a mop with so much hair you can't do anything with it. Seriously there is so much hair that to put in a pony tail, it's a little over an inch in diameter - extremely unrealistic. This is a decent wig. Once I gave it a baking soda bath to dull down the shine, I trimmed the bangs and blew it out with a blow dryer, it looks just like the pics. The only bad thing is the top construction, can see the cap in spots. Wore it to a wedding with a head band… lots of compliments!!

I wanted to see what life was like as a blonde... sigh... I'll never know. I couldn't even make this look like I wasn't trying to be a clown... haha... maybe that's my own fault, or maybe my hair is so thick, there's really no way to make it disappear so that this wig looks like it falls naturally from my own head. I guess I have to buy one of those rubber things to cover my hair with and then put this on? I have no clue... Maybe it's not fair to rate this 3 stars since it could be user error, but on the other hand, it's 3 stars for ease of use... maybe product descriptions should be more explanatory for the novice wig-user like me. Or maybe the color just didn't work for my skin tone and I felt silly going from brunette to blonde overnight? We'll never know the truth... ... show more
