Loved, loved this hat. It was purchased for my school field day. It was very hot that day and the hat was perfect. It protected my hair from the hot sun and keep it dry from the water games we played. The brim was large enough to keep the sun out of my eyes.

I was hoping the hat would work but it did not help hat hair, the material is not waterproof and the biggest problem was that the brim was not the same size all around and made the hat looked crooked on my head.

Ladies, I went to Bahamas and wore this hat off the cruise ship. It is stylish. I felt cool in extreme temperatures. It block the sun from my face well. I love it. I consider myself to have a big head, but I may have been able to wear regular size instead of xl.
