I used mine for the first time when we went to Cancun in May. The weather was super hot, but this hat kept the sun off my face, hair, and neck. Plus with the XL size, it fit nicely over my knotless braids. It is lightweight, has adjustable strings, and the quality is great. Definitely worth the price.

I was hoping the hat would work but it did not help hat hair, the material is not waterproof and the biggest problem was that the brim was not the same size all around and made the hat looked crooked on my head.

Hat is just okay. Overall it is made well. The brim is way too floppy and is quite annoying. In the product photos it look stiffer. Unfortunately, I missed the return window.
