These were super easy to put in my daughter's hair. So much easier to use versus lose tinsel. I recommend to tease the hair just slightly to keep the clip there all day. The clips are super easy to use and didn't pull the hair when taking it out.

The great part about these is that they are super easy to put in and remove. If you can put a clip or barrette in your hair ten you can put in and are out this hair tinsel. This also makes it reusable which is another great feature that most other hair tinsels don’t have. The not great part about these is that depending on the thickness, color, part, etc. of your hair, it can be really easy to see the clip part of the tinsels. The main part of it is black, which works for darker hair colors, but in he corners of each clip is a gold circle. The tinsels I got were the pink/gold ones, so the gold kind of works, but they are noticeable circles so they stand out in an unwelcome way compared to the pop of fun color that the tinsel itself offers. Also, my child seems to start off with a nice clean part, but it shifts all around during the day sometimes leaving the clips very noticeable. I went back and forth on 3 or 4 stars for these. I really dislike how noticeable the clips can be at times, but if you styled them and kept them in for just a day or two they might not be as noticeable. Also, I really love that you can reuse them and they are super easy to apply. They are nicely spaced and can give a nice look of tinsels around the whole head in just 2 minutes. The color is nice, they have nice sparkle, they wash nicely, and can be styled. So I went with 4 stars for those reasons. Just be aware that the clips can be noticeable.

There's quite a bit to like about these if you can over look the cheese factor. First, the clips snap open and close pretty easily. They work the way they are advertised. A few things to note: The clips are dark colored. If you have ultra light, blond, or very thin hair, they probably will be visible. They were fine in my medium blond, thicker hair. The tinsel is what you'd expect of the same tinsel you'd put on your holiday tree. Sort of plasticky, extra shiny, but also very festive. It says heat resistant but in full transparency, I haven't yet tried that. I most wear my long hair straight so I don't think I'll need to. You do get quite a few, enough for a very full head or to share. I'm keeping them to play with. I recommend them as long as you temper our expectations and aren't expecting anything salon-quality and are okay with the fun, but cheap, nature of them.

This product is NOT heat resistant. Very easy to attach to my 8 year old hair. Her hair it's short so I cut it according to her measurements. Very easy to take out and it doesn't break on the process.

The product is (almost) as described, and while I definitely think this is WAY more convenient than regular tinsel I just don't think, for me, it gives off the same vibe. The tinsel itself is good, the clips work etc. The problem I have is that while I thought this would be great for being able to reuse the tinsel I'm not sure that is going to really be that feasible because it gets so tangled when you're trying to store it. Also, like I mentioned the product description is accurate EXCEPT the pictures. Since this tinsel only has like 6 strands per clip you are definitely not going to get that pretty distributed tinsel look. However, I think this would look so pretty if you're going for a braided updo or just want tinsel in one spot. Overall, again the description is accurate it's just not what I want looks wise.
