I got the Umylar Clip in Hair Tinsel, Pack of 12Pcs , 20 Inch Glitter Rose Red Tinsel Hair Extensions , Festival Gift Tinsel Fairy Hair Extension Party Dazzle Hair Accessories Strands Kit for Women Girls Kids in 20 Inch 12Pcs, Rose Red#. These clips are definitely easier to use than tying the tinsel into hair, and last longer, too. I always lose about half the strands of tied-in tinsel on the first day. No strands came off my clips within a day, even when I brushed and styled my hair. Each clip has about 10 pieces of tinsel, so these are fairly subtle. But with 12 clips, quite a bit of sparkle can be added to my hair. I do have a little trouble hiding the clips if I put my hair up, but they're easy to hide with my hair down. They are black, so would probably be more obvious in light-colored hair. For $10, I think this set is fantastic.

This is a very nice kit, and my daughter was very happy with the colors. Unfortunately, my daughter did not like the fact that you can’t sleep with these. She says the metal clips hurt her head when she lays on them. I tried to explain to her that she needs to take them out before she goes to bed. Considering she is lazy and didn’t want to do that, she slept with them anyway. Because of her laziness, and the fact that she slept with them, she got turned off by the product. That is not the products fault, more or less my daughters fault. If you are not lazy, and are willing to take these in and out every night before you go to bed, this is a good product for you.

These are really easy to clip in to add a subtle sparkle. Each clip has 20 or so strands of tinsel. They’re very long and can be cut to the desired length. I lost a few strands just taking them from the package and separating them, so I think each clip could be used a few times at most before they lose too much tinsel.
