This hair tinsel is so fun! The first time I tried to do my daughter's hair was definitely a learning experience. There are a few ways you can do it. After watching some videos, I found the technique that works the best for me. I use about 3 strands of hair with 1 piece of tinsel and knot it on with my hands. Now I'm a pro. Its stays in your hair for a while but usually we take it out after a week or two because my daughter would want me to do a different color. I did it to my hair once and felt silly since I am an adult but it looked so cute and everywhere I went I got compliments. I really liked the hair tinsel! It added a fun sparkle to my hair and looked great once it was in. The colors were pretty and it lasted well. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was a little difficult to put in, especially if you’re doing it by yourself.     • Beautiful Fairy Hair but hard to do yourself
I absolutely love this- I have this in Silver. However I'll be 100% honest, I was never able to successfully do this to my own hair LOL. I followed the directions, searched for tutorials but I just can't seem to master it. I ended up enlisting my boyfriend for help who went through the videos with me, he struggled as well so more power all there to all the ladies who were able to do this by themselves, you guys rock! That being said, I put random strands throughout my head, I have light blonde hair so the Silver blends in with it but just sparkles enough. The thing is though, I get so many compliments from people! People at work to complete strangers on the street who will stop me and ask when they can do this. I tell them to try this kit from Amazon because you can't beat the price =D ... show more
