The included tools are helpful for beginners, though the knot-making tool could be better quality. Once secured properly, the strands stay put for several weeks with normal hair care. They remove cleanly without damaging your natural hair. Color variety is good - the holographic ones are particularly eye-catching without being overwhelming. A lot of different colored tinsel and all the tools you need! Keep in mind, it only comes with the darker beads- so blondes, you will need to order the other colors if you don't want them to show. Everything was perfect and seemed promising until i spent over an hour tying up my beads and splitting my hair perfectly just to find out there’s no tweezers which isn’t a big deal bc i have some in the tool box but it’s just they said it came with some and it didn’t and i really don’t wanna walk to the garage to get tweezers when it was supposed to come with some… kinda disappointing. not sure on if they will hold up to heat which is my biggest thing because i do my hair every other day :/ Edit: They do curl and straighten just fine with higher heat ... show more

They're obviously slippery like tinsel and tying them doesn't work for my daughter's fine hair so we used a dab of glue to keep them in place. I think it's the best solution-the glue breaks down after a few washes and then we can re-do them whenever. They are simply gorgeous when in!
