So I bought this variety pack because I wanted to practice doing these tinsel extensions before my next big festival. Since I wasn’t sure what color I wanted to do yet, I thought this would be a wise purchase to get an idea of what each shade was going to look like. The quality of these strands and colors were superb. Each color we used looked fantastic! I practiced putting these extensions in my sister’s hair, my sister’s friends hair, my moms hair… I feel pretty prepared now to do my own for the festival season. I attached a couple photos where you can see the tinsel in my sibling’s hair. Some of them wanted the chunky streaks and others wanted the subtle peek-a-boo effect. All the styles we tried turned out just as we expected. The tools that are provided, such as the pliers and the threading tool, worked exceptionally well. All we needed to do was watch the video provided here on the seller’s page, the steps are pretty simple. Make sure that when you apply these, you clamp down tight enough on the bead! If they aren’t flat enough, they will cause discomfort in your sleep.

They were a little hard to get at first but I got the hang of it now and I love having tinsel in my hair I don't know if it heat protectant since I don't straighten/curl/blow dry my hair but their pretty nice just wish I cam with a orange color to.

My 4 & 6 year old really wanted to add color streaks to their hair and I wasn’t willing to go a permanent route. This was the perfect alternative. It’s simple enough to put in that my 4 yo can sit still long enough for about 3 beads+tinsel. My kids get complimented every single day on how cute the tinsel looks in their hair. We’re about to run out of micro beads since we change the color in their hair about weekly. My only complaint is that I wish the tinsel was packaged better. It’s hard to get it out of the package and if you take the whole cardboard piece out, you end up with a rats nest full of tinsel. Instead, I’ve begun to stick the tool in the hanging hole at the top of the package and try to pull a single piece out a time.

I bought these for my daughter for fun ! They are a little tricky at first but after doing it a few times you’ll get the hang of it . They seem to be pretty durable , just make sure to carefully removed them from package or they can get tangled very easily. The tools are good quality too and there are videos on YouTube to show you how to do them.
