Okay, I drank the koolaid too, and honestly, I'm sold. I have fine hair normally, and I get sew in extensions to mask it (22in to be exact), and I take VERY good care of them. No issues there. HOWEVER - This little thing is an absolute BONUS to my hair care routine. But instead of circular motions where the sew in meets my root, I use a side by side motion directly over the weft, allowing the nubbies to get underneath to prevent buildup. The rest of my head I use circular motions, and both of them feel SO damn good, I ain't even gonna lie. Once a skeptic, now a convert. It's a GAME CHANGER. The ones who are saying they're getting tangles, go GENTLE, not Tasmanian devil. It's your head, not a whirlpool. I bought this at the suggestion of my hair stylist. She uses it all the time. I have dry scalp and massaging my scalp with my hands in the shower doesn’t always get my scalp feeling super clean. But THIS contraption? Feels AMAZING!! It scratches all the itchy parts of my scalp without the bleeding I get when I scratch too hard with my nails. You don’t even have to apply too much pressure. Holy God above I love this thing. I’m mixed; super big, curly, long, Afro, C3 hair and I thought I would NEVER use a product like this because it would just tangle my hair up all the way to the scalp and would just be a nightmare. WRONG! I love this thing. A friend with similar hair raved about it so I caved and bought it, hell it’s only $9. I’ve bought drinks at the bar more than that. The nubs are much firmer than expected and feel sooo goooddddd. I love using this thing, my scalp has never felt so clean and fresh. I was introduced to these a couple of years ago, and when I found one in Amazon, they had to get it. You scrub your scalp with it while washing your hair. I have never found a more effective dandruff control option. My hair is thick and curly, as a result, I rarely, if ever, brush it. I stick to find anger coming, mostly. As a result, I don't get a lot of exfoliation if my scalp. Even when I did brush it, I still had a lot of leftover dry skin. This changed all that. I put on my shampoo and leather it up, then grab the scrubber and scrub the heck out of my scalp. It's relaxing and just overall a nice thing to do. Then I rinse it off, rinse off my hair, and I can condition and style as usual. My scalp is much healthier, my hair might be thicker, as well. Hard to tell. And I don't have to worry about wearing dark shirts anymore. All over a win-win. ... show more

Other ones i’ve tried are too rough on my scalp while this one is gentle, but still works to get all of that built up oil out of my curly hair while washing. I even use it to distribute my hair oils. I’ve noticed my hair growing a lot faster and it also cleans my hair really good. I used to have an oily scalp where I had to wash it every day but this has helped me spread out my wash days. It’s also pretty durable I’m really clumsy so I drop it a lot and it hasn’t broken yet. It’s really light weight and it kinda feels funny at first but you get used to it.
