I have only been using Cicamed shampoo and conditioner for a bit now so I will have to update this review in the near future. So far I like it. I can see the texture of my hair look a bit thicker. The conditioner leaves the hair super soft which is a big difference from Nioxin which leaves your hair feeling dry. I like that you only need a dime size for both. The only drawback, I had to say, is that for the shampoo you need to leave it in for 5 minutes and the conditioner for 3 minutes. It is a bit pricey but since you don't use much to begin with, it should last quite a bit.

I ordered this stuff a while ago & completely forgot about it cuz I travel a lot. Finally I saw it in the corner when I was cleaning & remembered 😄 Anyway, my hair’s been thinning the last couple years & I’m a person that likes to get to the root of things to solve the actual problem. I’m still trying to figure out the cause but in the meantime, this stuff is working wonders!! My hair definitely looks fuller than before so I would definitely recommend this to people having the same issue I’m having.

I stopped using this shampoo. Breakage and split ends. reduced to 3stars from 5. update complete on march 13th 2020. original review follows. I've not been using this shampoo long enough to show growth but I can speak to some important things with respect to sticking with a shampoo like this. The problems I've had with hair growth or thickness shampoos is damage, dryness, the frizzy look, breakage that is obvious. These are things you don't need from a scalp and hair growth shampoo but I've experienced this so often I've abandoned the idea and have just used vitamins and serums. This shampoo is gentle, no odor, no itch. My hair seems to be normal, and I can stick with this. I only wash my hair a few times a week, rather than every day like I used to, so I use other products daily for growth also. I have significant thinning at the top of my head and use extensions and a topper to hide the extensions as well. But, when my hair is at it's best I don't need a topper. I'll update in a few months when there is something to report. Even at that time my hair will not be typical of great improvement but I know my hair and what is possible. I hope this works, for now it is a good shampoo and is something I can stick with.

I cannot describe the quality of this product the way it makes your hair feel luxurious soft 48 actually gives you a great sense of confidence every day knowing that you've got healthy thick srong hair and I think this product and believe this product goes a long way in fulfilling those promises it is a great product both the shampoo and the conditioner fantastic stuff will buy again

this won't grow your hair. For that, you need prescription drugs, and those only slow hair loss. To really fight hair loss and "re-grow" hair, you need a transplant. That's just where we're at medically. That said, this is a nice shampoo. Just don't get your hopes up that it is a miracle drug. At best, it's slowing hair loss when used for at least three months---and then, it's effects will immediately stop if you stop using it.
