Haven't had to use Kite Hook Safety Knife (fortunately), it seems to be solidly built with good cutting blades. It is compact and might not be the best item to use for larger cord / line. For my purposes as a paraglider, this should work on the kite lines. I would not expect to use this on a harness or other larger nylon strapping. My daughter is a skydiver and this is her primary cut away tool we hope she never has to use but it is sturdy, easy to find on the rig and simple to get in your hand. If it is never needed they great but if it is this thing is great. It would also be good in the car to cut away a safety belt

The media could not be loaded. The length of the velcro tab that holds it in place could be a half inch longer. Also some more mounting options like Velcro on the face would be nice to see for this product. To mount in different areas like a flight deck.

Feels well built, cuts test lines easily. Small enough to fit in the extra pocket in my chest harness. The finger slot feels good and gives me confidence I wouldn't lose my grip on it during use.

I purchased for carry in my chest rig while flying. I did test this out on several different strings and it cut like butter. I hope I don't need this, but it is insurance. Highly recommend.

Attached to the radio holster for paragliding. I secured the knife with a lanyard to the case about an arm length, so I don't accidentally drop it when I do use it. Essential when flying coastal sites with the possibility of landing on water.
