I have worn Dockers Khakis for years. They wrinkle really bad the moment I sit down so I was hoping to find something better. I purchased a pair of these in the same size as the Dockers. The stretchy waistband is a horrible design. The Dockers simply had about and inch of stretch in the waistband. These have extra material that slides in and out of a pocket in the waistband. I hate it! It makes the waistband thick and uncomfortable. It pinches your sides if you sit down to tie your shoes before putting a shirt on. EVERY time I try to pass my belt through one of the belt loops where the stretch pocket is, the belt goes into that pocket instead of the belt loop. I have only worn these less than a dozen times and I think I am just going to stick with my Dockers. The stretch in these pants is probably 3 inches. When I try to button up the pants, they are inches away from being able to button up. I have to use most of the stretch to button them. Same thing when you are tucking in your shirt. You have to pull the waistband away from your body. These are a bad design. Overall they just don't feel comfortable. They always feel like they are being pulled down. ... show more

I recently purchased a second pair in a different color. As a 92-year-old no longer unable to exercise except in moderation, the expandable waist is a valuable feature. My first pair has done well with many washings. They may be too heavy for everyday wear for seniors in a warm climate but here on the shore of the Great Lakes with our moderate summers and cool winters, they do well for me. While these pants are a bit tight fitting, they are a good work pant for business-casual attire. They do show wrinkles, but a bit less than the average pant. If you can get them at a good deal, size up and buy them.
