The machine washable feature is what initially caught my attention with this jacket. What induced me to purchase the jacket was that it was on sale and in a color that I wanted. The downside with the purchase was that almost 3.5 weeks passed after placing the order before it shipped and I think that was because I called customer service to ask what the delay was. It was shipped immediately and arrived a day earlier than the revised arrival date. The jacket appears to be well constructed and fits without any needed alterations. As an unstructured blazer it will go well with jeans and khaki pants for a casual business look. The color is as as expected and true to what was shown on the Amazon website. The material is nice but the fit is a bit wide and frumpy, to the point where I don’t wear it often. Probably should have returned it but missed the deadline. Also the inner flaps along the lapel are not sewn in and they tend to flop about, sometimes to the point where they are visible from the outside. I don’t hate it, but I definitely don’t love it. I purchased this for my frugal friend who was taking a trip to France and needed an affordable travel blazer for one evening event. This came in his size and the fit was perfect! This blazer is advertised as “Smart Wash,” which I thought was ideal for a travel blazer that could get smelly on the return trip in the suitcase full of dirty clothes. I assumed it would wash well and be less apt to wrinkle. Although it remained relatively wrinkle-free in the suitcase, once washed and hung dry, it was a wrinkled mess! Runs small but others it looks and feels great. I got "x-large/regular" when ordered and it says "48/50 regular" on the tag when it arrived, but is is NOT "48/50" but more like a "44/46" size so it definitely runs quite small. At least for me. I measured this relative to other suit coats that I have and this one definitely runs small compared to several others that I own. Otherwise, it is great quality and comfort and style.     • The jacket was ruined in just one wash!

I bought two different colors in this jacket. The blue version washed perfectly but the black version became wrinkled, stretched and had massive thread damage after just one wash! Be aware of the quality because not all are made well.
