I did not have any issues with the packaging that I saw in a couple of reviews. I got the box, with product un-opened and in brand new state. It comes with the slide itself, little 1-sheet instructions, and 2 plastic stakes. As others have mentioned, the instructions are kind of hard to follow. Hard to even see, they are so tiny. So, my first time using it was a bit frustrating as I didn't properly set it up; and found myself having to pull sides to keep it from bunching up. After eyeballing the instructions again, I notices I hadn't filled the right and left side of the ramp with water, which is important in acting as a weight base for the slide. Sooooooooo, to help you folks, I have created an instruction image and uploaded it to this review. I've found if you set it up correctly it stands up to the kids play time and you don't have to get out of your chair or put your drink down. Hope it helps! I agree the directions are horrid! Go to http://www.h2ogoslides.com/video.html to see how to use the water hose adapter. The slide came with two different pieces for the water hose so I couldn't figure it out. Turns out I only needed the one piece shown in the video. Also some help with inflating the ramp: There are three different inflation holes on the bottom side of the "pillow" ramp. The middle one is for AIR and the two sides are to be filled with water to hold it down on the sides. Our water pressure filled the pool at the end nicely with nice 2 ft water sprays out of all the holes. So, I think this product is worth what I paid. My only concern is it's durability. The plastic is thin and I wonder how long it will last. My two sons are not destructive but I would be ware if you have kids that are rough players! ... show more

I'm one of those people that rarely buy things at full price. I will almost always buy things at the end of a season and just wait for the following season to come around to use it (ie - we live in MN & i bought this slip 'n slide last Oct) So needless to say, my 5 year old twin boys were so excited when they heard today was the day they would finally get to play on the "slippery slide". My husband is very handy & mechanically inclined. He builds/races large remote control buggy's and dirt bikes. So I didn't think for a second that setting up this simple slip 'n slide would give him any trouble... Well I was wrong. We all know, that in todays day and age, most consumer products only include the bare minimum with the packaging. If you want something more, well then you have to pay for it. I mean, most manufacturers (Including This One!) Don't even include Basic Instructions anymore! So when my husband couldn't find any logical use for this red nozzel thing that was included, he kept thinking he was doing something wrong or missing a step. But he wasn't. It turns out, the red nozzel serves absolutely No Purpose at all to this product. Very frustrating! Now all that aside, I must say, although very short lived, the kids had an absolute blast on this slide 'n slide! And if it was actually made of the quality material and it was as durable as they claim it to be, this would be an awesome product! But it's not... We got less than 45 minutes of use before noticing the seam by the little "pool" area at the end of the slide had split wide open and so that was the end of that...Glad I only paid $9! ... show more

Great slip and slide ordered it this one because we’ve had this one in the past. But they changed the pillow at the beginning of the slide to have more cushion. but the fill plug for the primary pillow isn’t the same size as the hise and doesn't have a connector on it.

This product, a child's on-the-ground water slide, was a birthday present for my 8 year old nephew; which he was going to share at his birthday party. Upon inflation if was found that one of the side seems was not properly sealed, causing the slide to deflate. Upon trying to talk with someone; I found that Amazon kept referring me to the manufacturer, Bestway, who is a manufacturer of large pools and spas. Upon trying to contact them, I could not speak to a person without filling out an online form (which was very detailed). I found this whole experience to be disappointing and frustrating, especially since the items cost was around $20.00. ... show more

My kids are having fun with this slide. The directions as previously point out are not that good but it only takes a few steps to set up. Be sure to have a Coleman pump or equivalent to air up the ramp. Much quicker. You may also need a extra hose washer to add. The connector itself was deep on our slide so it couldn't tighten all the way to the hose until I added the washer seal. You need it to be water tight or the water pressure won't get high enough to spread properly. I only gave 3-stars because of what I reviewed but it's still worth the purchase.
