These curtains most certainly provided me with the rich lovely look I was trying to achieve. I read several reviews and am not in agreement with the negative reviews. These are not 100% blackout curtains they blackout approximately 90% which is true to the product description. Although these curtains are not lined (per my HOA I am required that my windows look white from the outside) of which I ordered sheer curtains to compliment these plum colored curtains they exceeded my expectations! I wanted curtains for my home office. Here's what I love about them: 1. The grommet color is exactly what I was looking for to compliment the curtain rod I already had in place 2. Heavy fabric but nice and very soft 3. Provides up to 90 light filtering/blackout (exactly as advertised in the product description) 4. Lovely color very close to the online color sample 5. Fantastic quality for a superb price I have cats and did not want to spend a lot of money on curtains that may very well become snagged at some point but I did not want to compromise on the appearance and finding this product gave me the best of both worlds! My cats are happy and can still enjoy their windows ledge sunny naps and I love the rich color and design feel that I get looking at these curtains. UPDATE: We have a snow storm that moved in last night (04/28/2017) and I was eager to see how warm my office would be with these curtains. This room is always cold and I was so surprised how warm it felt this morning when I woke up to check if the curtains blocked out the cold and kept the room from becoming cold...well they did! The room temperature felt the same as the rest of the house. Nicely done!

I have historically purchased my curtains from IKEA because of the variety and quality of their curtains. I just purchased this brand, H.Versailtex Room Darkening Curtains, in Stone Blue ($24) and Pale Oak ($35) for the 52”x84”. They are gorgeous. The fabric is good quality and well made. The blue wasn’t right for my home, but there are so many colors, I’m ordering the 52”x96” for all my living room windows. These are excellent for quality, material, room darkening, high-end design and price.

I decided to redecorate the master bedroom and the 3 guest rooms. I started with the master. I ordered 2 pair of these drapes in sage for the 2 windows. They help keep the heat out and all of the light. I love a dark room to sleep in. They are fairly light weight but heavy enough. I bought the antique brackets to hange them on. I always wash and dry anything new I buy before using it. Thats just the way I do things. Sometimes products will have a smell of chemicals or dying agents on them. These drapess DID NOT. I washed them in cold water, permenent press cycle and dried them on low heat for about 10 minutes. I promptly took them out of the dryer wrinkle free. They did wonderful. I highly recommend these drapes. I bought the Harmony Lane Pillow shams and Bed skirt in sage from Amazon also. The Drapes, Pillow shams and Bed skirt we're an absolute perfect match. That rarely happens. I was thrilled. I put on a Queen size comforter that had large burgandy and mauve cabbage roses with Sage & Forest green leaves on a white background. The room is stunning. I ended up doing one guest room with the same colors, just a different comforter. It to looks stunning. Unfortunately one drape was about 3/4ths of an inch longer than the other 3 panals. That really bothers me!!. I had washed them so I couldn't with a clear conscience return them. But everything else was perfect. For the 3rd guest room I bought the same brand of drapes, only in burgundy. I hung them up before I washed them to make sure the lengths we're all the same and they were. It is a gorgeous burgundy color. I bought the burgundy Pillow shams and Bed skirt from Harmony Lane. Another perfect match!!! I bought a bold design comforter with 2 colors of burgundy, mauve, sage & Forest green and beige. It is also stunning. I won't go on any further. The brands H. Versailtex and Harmony Lane are extreamly well made, wash and dry perfectly, will out last me I'm sure and make a stunning room. The Quality is truly remarkable. I have received more compliments on my redecorating with Amazon than I have any other time in 25 yrs. I just added a few new lamps, silk flowers arrangements and portraits. I'm more than satisfied, I'm thrilled.

This fit my windows perfectly, length and width. It was of course very easy to install. The panels did need ironing prior to hanging. The color is true as shown. There was no chemical smell. Good texture and blocks out daylight.

Nice curtains, look as shown. Only problem we bought for blackout feature to cut sunlight and heat in bedroom but they don’t really block light. Should have figured white wouldn’t really work but that is color we needed.
