This is pretty much exactly as advertised. Cold white, and super bright! Like genuinely when I plugged it in and it was all still rolled up next to me, it hurt my eyes it was so bright. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but quality is good. The material is soft and flexible. The diffusion is pretty good, not perfect, but better than most, so you don't see hotspots really, I think once its installed you wouldn't notice any at all. Not sure I want to use this for what I had intended since it gets crazy hot when covered. My initial plan was to create a channel for it to rest in..now I am afraid to do so. Since when do LEDs get burning hot? Missed my return window..bummed!

These lights are very, very bright. We got these for a bedroom, and they ended up being far too bright. The adhesive is very strong, but it also took paint off the wall of the room after only being on the wall for a very short time. These might work better outdoors or in a garage or another area where strong adhesion and very bright light is more ideal. Mounting tracks are awesome, would love a remote control! Great ambient lighting, good value for the price! A great improvement would be to make them dimmable, but again - great for movie night, ambient lighting, night light, etc.

    • Decent quality warm white SMD 2835 LED strip light.
On the plus side, these are one of the few AC powered LED strips on the market. No need to buy a separate power supply. These are intended for outdoor use. The light is on the warm side. This strip can be cut to the desired length, and the pieces can be refused back together. At 33', this is one of the largest strips available. On the down side, these use SMD 2835 LED chips and don't have a lot of brightness. They are also non-dimmable. ... show more

Nice bright lights easy to hang and look great. ALL of these strip lights should come with these awesome mounting brackets! No silly double sided tape (that never works) needed! Just a small screwdriver and patience is all it takes. Would be better if this strip came with a built in switch, and/or a remote to turn them on and off... You have to manually plug and unplug the strip to turn them on and off which is really annoying. And of course you cannot adjust the brightness. For this reason I give 3 stars. Not a bad product at all but could use some improvements. Would recommend if you don't care about not having a switch or a remote. ... show more
