This thing is so much fun. I wish that I had bought one sooner. I got some b-day money and thought, why not buy something that a younger me would have loved. I love riding this thing around. The only downside is that it is hard to get it back from the kids. There is a minimal learning curve to riding. Kids take to it without a problem. Note: I recently had some very inebriated adults (not me) riding on it and they were surprisingly fine. I researched hoverboards a bit before purchase. So here's why I went this route. This board has two powerful motors, a newer type of 4.0Ah battery, a metal shell, a high weight capacity, and larger wheels. Here's my two cents. -I live in a hilly area of SoCal. So I needed a board with enough power to get me up some hills. Figured the two 350 watt (700 total) motors would get me (165lbs) up a hill. And they do with no problem. This thing takes the hills like it's nothing. -The battery charges quickly and gives at least 90 minutes (usually around 180 minutes) of use. I don't go faster than a quick jog speed (6-7 mph) as I want to be able to catch myself instead of eating pavement. Be smart, things can go sideways quickly when you're slightly distracted. -The metal shell does make it heavy, but it's durable and I don't carry it around. I probably would have cracked a plastic shell by now. -It says it can support up to 265 lbs. I'm nowhere near that, but it means to me that it is structurally sound. -The 8.5" wheels are good. I can bump over the sidewalk to street seams with minor caution. I've tried riding it on the grass and it's maybe not the best for an adult (or my lawn just stinks with its pits and dips which is more likely), but the kids take at it with no problem. In the end, I bought it for sidewalk/street use. Note: I was looking at the Hover-1 Titan as well due to the bigger tires (10" air filled). The bigger tires would be nice, but then I would have to maintain the psi. Based on past experience with small air filled tires, I went with the solid 8.5" tires (more grab and go). Also, The Titan has only two 250 watt (500 total) motors instead of the two 350 watt motors and I wanted more power. ... show more

This is a powerful and tough board. We have two boys who are tough on their toys and these have stood up the test. Living in the country we needed an off road version of a hoverboard. This one makes it up our 35 degree hill with ease, up and down the hills of the pasture, and through the gravel around our house. This board is built for off road. The battery lasts about an hour, but keep in mind we really put it through the rigor of an off road board. It may last longer with easy riding. Keep in mind that with all this torque the board will take some time to master. It’s not jerky at the start, but unless you are going slow, it takes time to stop. It also takes wide turns because the engine of one side is working hard. Customer service is fantastic. We were having some issues with the first board we purchased. (We purchased a second for our other child). One side of the board was having motor issues and the other side was overpowering the board, leaving it jerky and spinning. Needless to say it was dangerous. My child flew off of it several times. I contacted customer service and was asked to take a video of it, which was next to impossible unless I filmed my child every time they got on the board. After some back and forth the customer service team said “Please don’t worry about it. We will take care of it.” They emailed me postage for a return of the board so they could research what was happening and fix it, and they said they would send me a new wheel for the go-cart attachment I purchased with it. (We had some floppy wheel issues). Less than a month later we have refurbished board and a new wheel. 💖 For those made in America fans, we sent the board to Texas for repair, which I would take to mean that it is indeed made here. ... show more

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter's birthday. It took her about an hour to get the hang of it. She took it out the next day and she was riding it around. I was impressed with the Bluetooth speakers. That thing sounded good. She is a happy girl.

This review is for the warrior G2 by Gyroor. (Gyroor Warrior 8.5 inch All Terrain Off Road Hoverboard) I weigh 205 lbs. I am 55 years old. Used to do a lot of mountain biking. Wanted something solid for a hoverboard. And this is it. It doesn't creek or flex. Doesn't sound like its going to explode or even like its working hard at all. Has a few modes. You do not have to use a phone to access modes. Mostly silent but when you do hear it, it sound like great gears and mechanisms working like you would want. I like higher end products.
