This gymnastics mat is thick and supportive, giving my daughter a comfortable surface to practice on. It’s also surprisingly lightweight, which makes it easy to move around or store. The colors are bright and exactly as expected, and the overall build quality seems solid. The only downside is the size. While the dimensions are accurate, it still feels a bit narrow and short in real use. My daughter can barely complete a tumble without stepping off the edge. It works well for basic skills, but for more advanced tumbling, a wider mat would make a big difference. Still, for the quality, it’s a decent choice. This match is very well-made and sound nicely. It even has a handle and folds up well it is super cute pink and purple and the material on it is a vinyl feel so you can wipe it down to clean it. It is 2 inches thick like they say and it is 2 feet wide and 6 feet long, which is really only good for very small children. My kid is five in the pictures and when he starts standing on it and does a somersault his feet hit off the end. It is extremely dense and not super squishy so I feel like it will provide adequate padding when my boys throw themselves off the couch. The downfall is the size especially since it is only 2 feet wide and so small because my five-year-old aims for it and still misses quite often even just doing a simple cartwheel I think it is a great mat. I think it is just too small for most uses that being said it clearly states the size in the listing so you need to know what you’re buying. It’s hard to imagine exactly how big it is until you see a child on it. This is where I struggled. It’s easy to fold up in store away and it seems like very good quality. I’ve been trying to do more floor exercises lately and needed something with more cushioning than a basic yoga mat. I use one of those suction cup sit-up bars, and the hard floor plus a thin mat just wasn’t cutting it—this solved that problem perfectly. The thickness makes a big difference. It provides enough padding for sit-ups, stretching, and other floor work without feeling too soft or unstable. It also folds up nicely, so I can tuck it into a corner when I’m done without it taking up a bunch of space. It feels well made, and for the price, I think it’s a really good value—especially if you’re working out at home and need something more comfortable than a standard yoga mat.
