I don't know if other watches of the same model have a battery issue: I charge it every other day. That is an annoyance as a cheaper watch I had lasted 6-9 days before I had to charge it (depends on the work I was doing on it). I have this set up for phone calls and sport tracking, and it all of the apps elements work really well. I do like the many sports options to track for your health, and that is one of the reasons I bought it. The face is very clear and face options are many, which is also very nice. The band is well made, with a nicely raised ridge to lock the band in place and not slip. The hole placements do not work well for my wrist (too loose or too tight)...so I had to switch it to another band. I generally like it - I am wearing it, not sure I would buy it again.

I bought this for my 91 yr old mom for Mother's Day so she could make calls for emergencies. She has a cell phone but its often in her purse which is no help if she couldn't get to it. The watch can be with her at all times. I honestly didn't expect it to work because she has a flip phone. I researched to see if the phone could work with a smartwatch and determined that it might since the phone had bluetooth and was capable of receiving messages. I had no problem pairing them, but ran into a problem when I tried to download the app. Several attempts and a bit of research later , I discovered that apps could not be downloaded to the phone. I then thought that maybe I could keep the watch for myself and try something else for her, so I downloaded the app to my phone and went through the setup from there. I tried making a call from the watch and it WORKED! I tried the call again and noticed that the call came from my mom's phone instead of mine! (Forgetting to pair my phone with the watch turned out to be a good thing). I was able to set up everything from my phone for her to use the watch. I had to disable notifications for email and text because those were from my phone instead of hers. No problem though, as she never texts and only has an email address to set up accounts. I can manage her watch from my phone which right now seems very convenient. She was delighted with the phone/watch connection and is quite happy right now. There are a couple of things that might change that: 1) Will it continue to work if my phone is nowhere near? 2) Why aren't there shortcuts to dialing the phone numbers saved to favorites? I'll update later if our satisfaction changes.

This watch is ideal if you're seeking for something that resembles an Apple Watch. On this watch, there is a call function, a message receiving function, and a gaming feature. On this watch, you can also monitor how far you walk each day. You can simply switch the setting to track various sports. The call feature of this watch doesn't work until you are close to the phone you connected to, which is something I really don't enjoy.

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews on the much more expensive Big Brand watches. So many of them talked about the counts and tracking not being accurate with poor battery life. I figured if I was going to have something that wasn't accurate that I'd have to charge daily I might as well pay significantly less for the item. That lead me to this watch. It does everything I need it to do. It connects by Bluetooth to my phone and lets make a call if needed. I can read my messages; I can't respond, but who wants to type on a tiny screen? Not me. It gives me a general idea of my steps and HR. A big plus, I can use it to find my phone when I can't remember where I've set it. lol The battery lasts me about a day and half, maybe two, which isn't bad in my opinion. The first few days it really drained my phone battery having it connected until my phone's adaptive battery adjusted. Now it's fine. The face on the watch is also huge, but not overtly so. My sister has a Big Brand watch and commented several times that she wished her watch face was as big as this one. I've gotten this wet a few times (playing in the sprinkler, hand washing mishap, etc) and it's been fine. Overall, I'd definitely buy this again if needed. It's very much worth the price.

The watch face is a little bigger than I anticipated, but I've gotten used to it. I wish it would actually show me my heart beats, but it keeps track of my heart rate, so I'll take it. I wish I could respond to text messages thru the watch, but I can't. I have to go find my phone if I want to do that. Otherwise, I really like it.
