Gutermann is a great quality thread. It is all I buy. Very strong 100% polyester. This set was a nice selection of colors and significantly cheaper than the same set offered in my local fabric store.

It’s nice to have a vast collection of some of the world’s best threads. I’ve been using these for over 20 years and after many washings the threat is still full of color and a strong as day one. To buy this collection by buying each one of these individually would cost well over $75. so having this assortment that less than half the price is a real bargain. The plastic case is a little sub-par, but I discarded it immediately. I bought a new machine and wanted to start with a fresh collection of the best money can buy. I would buy these all over again. The set comes with 3 black spools which is nice since that is the most common color used.

This is a great collection of threads. Polyester is low lint, and strong. As a quilter, I love having these smaller spools of colors for my applique projects where you need just a little of a lot of colors. I got one as a gift and just replaced it. The case is sturdy and keeps thread dust free.

Gutermann has wonderful thread and when I realized that I needed many different colors for an extended stay, I opted for this collection. The plastic box is great because you can keep all the thread in one location. I did purchase this from a third party vendor through Amazon and was disappointed at the delivery. They gave me one delivery date and it was no where close to when it arrived, very late. Alas, I have made a note not to use that vendor again, and it is the only reason I gave it a four star rating.

This set of Gutermann 110 yards of 100 percent polyester thread is a real good buy. It has an assortment of colors that come in handy for all of my sewing projects. The only thing I would recommend is that the set have at least two spools of the black and white color thread. I have already run out of those two colors and had to go out to purchase it locally at my nearest Fabric Mart in Kaneohe.

I was tired of never having the right color for mending, and most kits I'd seen were far too expensive--and had sub-par thread. This is perfect--the quantity per spool is just right for mending and it's hard to imagine a color I can't mend with all these colors. The plastic spindles all broke during shipping--but I wasn't buying this for the box now was I?
