This case saved my iPad. I accidentally left my iPad on the hood of my car as I was putting other things in the backseat. I drove away start driving turned onto a busy road and my iPad went flying off the hood of the car and into a grassy area on the road. I was sure that the device was totaled. I’ve dropped them before from just, a few feet and had cracked my iPad case. When I bought this device, put it on it literally saved my iPad. No damage whatsoever to my iPad. The case had hit the ground and separated from the iPad. There was damage to the corner of the case but I’m telling you I would prefer that to having to buy a whole new iPad. I had originally purchased a book-type cover for my iPad but just felt that it was flimsy and and it was uncomfortable to hold. Overall, I do like this cover much better since it is very simple without any loose cover; however, the screen protector doesn't quite fit right and is a few mm's off the iPad screen reducing the sensitivity of the touch screen some so you do have to "swipe" a bit harder. My daughter (7) has been using this case for 2 months now. Dropped ipad a couple times, 3 year old dropped it too and it is still intact. Love that the screen sticks to the front glass when assembling. Very sturdy and durable. Clear back allows daughter to see engraving. Love it.
