I went to the local guitar center to find a guitar stand/rack and they only had one of those fold up ones for like $90. This was not only cheaper but it looks way better, feels sturdy, was easy to assemble, and stores 2 more guitars than the GC one.

One of the screws sent for the attachment of the bottom was too short to even make it all the way through. The other screw was the right size. Also, the rubber pad that runs along the bottom is coming off after only one day of use.

This stand went together pretty easy, about 20 minutes altogether. Holds a combination of bass, electric and acoustic guitars very well.

Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program. I didn't get paid for the review and, in fact, I Pay 45% in Federal and State Income Taxes for each item. My husband is deceased but I remember him putting an old cotton sock over the headstock of some of his guitars that were in stands. I researched and read that rubber, vinyl, and leather can damage nitrocellulose finishes. The 7-Guitar Rack arrived, without the hardware, so I waited for the Seller to send me the replacements. Great Customer Service. I appreciate the quality of the screws but the silver-colored screwheads look terrible against the dark wood. A trip to my shop to use rattle-can black on the screwheads. I used a battery-operated bit driver, instead of using the supplied Allen wrench, making the assembly go rather quickly. His guitars are currently stored in cases and I'll need to verify which ones can be safely displayed in this rack. The Guitar Rack looks good and is very sturdy.

The good: Easy to assemble. Works as intended. The bad: The rubber padding has an extreme skunk smell to it. Typical of all this off brand China stuff that’s prolific on Amazon. Had to wash my hands about 3 times to get rid of the smell after assembling. Materials feel about as cheap as Walmart furniture. Makes ikea furniture feel like serious quality. Came with one of the bolt’s absolutely demolished. Luckily there was one extra in there. Also ordered the rack for guitar cases from the same manufacturer. It was packaged missing the main front piece but 2 more support arms than needed. Final verdict, it works - would try a different brand next time.
