This would be a great product for any guitar player. I play guitar for my job and often travel. I had hoped it was be a little more portable, and while it is small, it does not pack/fold away nicely and is bulky. The product itself fits nicely on my 3/4 guitar. A bit heavy but you get used to it quickly, pretty sturdy, and easy to adjust! Once you have it on, it will sit comfortably u til you take it off!

This is a nice spring clamp type of phone holder with a c clamp to attach to your stationary object. This works pretty well and holds the phone securely. It is connected with a double ball joint which I have found are not great at maintaining position. It does tighten down pretty well and holds the phone securely. It is made in China. The clamp is meant to attach to a guitar, but I found that the rubber on the clamp that was to protect the guitar neck was off center enough that bare metal would be clamping onto the guitar neck. I didn't like this so I removed and repositioned the rubber and glued it back down. I would still prefer to see more cushioning on the clamp if it is to be used on a guitar neck. All in all, it will work for the intended function, but use caution with your instruments.

This is a decent phone holder for use on stringed instruments. It has a padded clamp that fits over the headstock, and a phone clamp that sits on an adjustable ball that allows you to angle the phone in multiple directions. There are threads in multiple places so you can screw the device together in different formations, depending upon your instrument and what you are using the device for. I found that I had to tighten things very tightly to be sure the weight of the phone didn't pull to much on the angling mechanism. The phone clamp stretches enough for wider phones but will not hold an iPad. I was disappointed that the stem below the phone clamp wasn't longer, as I wanted to angle the phone to take photos of my fingers on the guitar neck but could not. I think that this works best for reading online or stored sheet music off your phone while playing, or for taking pictures of yourself holding the guitar.

This is made well. It's very versatile in the fact that you can use it on an instrument as well as a desk or on your music stand or even a microphone stand so if you want to read music lyrics from a phone and sing you could do that. I am very happy I got it.

Awesome, 360 turning radius vertically and horizontally, 60 degree tilt, easy to assemble, holds my phone inside of its case without issue. Really like this set up, makes it so much easier to follow along with tabs and practice videos. The adjustable tightener will fit a variety of guitars, it's perfect on my Yamaha bass and works great for my set up. My only issue was while tightening down one of the attachment screws, it easily popped through the other side of the clamp (see bump in grip backing shown in photos), but otherwise perfect. I'll get a lot of use out of this for $18, just wish the assembly had a stopper for the screw that attaches the phone clamp.

I got this phone holder for 2 reasons. And it is great for both. 1) so i can mount my phone on the headstock so I can see tab or music on the screen while playing, without having to set up a stand for the device. 2) to hold my phone with the camera pointed at the fretboard to film while making review videos.

This is an interesting idea for sure. The hardware is heavy duty so I wouldn't think twice about dropping it (except on your guitar. Don't do that please!). The only place I feel it needs improvement is that the padding doesn't stretch over the entirety of the metal. I'm not sure who designed the non clamp end, but it looks like it's designed to wrap around a Fender headstock tip. Except the Fender headstock tip is just slightly too wide for it even at the most extended. So instead you end up clamping raw steel down on your headstock. with zero padding to protect it. That being said, it does actually securely hold your phone. I have an iPhone 14 PM and have no trouble fitting it into the holder. The nice thing is it uses the same standard tripod threading as other similar phone tripods, so if you instead wanted to put a small camera on there for a unique music video angle you could. I was concerned it might make the guitar feel too top heavy, but af ter just a few minutes I quickly adjusted, didn't feel like the headstock was being pulled down, but I was playing on a solidbody Fender and then a solidbody Yamaha bass, both of wich are very bottom heavy. YMMV with an acoustic or holow body electric.
