  • No brainer, period.
This stand is well worth the money. I have it setup up on my 3D range at the cabin and everyone that shoots out of it cant believe it was only $39.99. The platform is huge and very stable. Its soooo nice to not have my toes hanging off the platform, like with my old models. The stand is lite weight and very easy to setup. I use it for bow hunting and it has performed flawlessly giving me ample room the draw the bow back. Would and have recommend this product to anyone within ear shot. Only con is that the ratchet straps are short. If you plan on hanging it on a big white oak, bring extra straps. I learned this lesson the hard way. ... show more

  • Great stand for the price
Love how big the platform is. It doesn't come with straps, but I easily made straps out of the included safety harness since I already own a safety harness that I utilize on all of my hunts. It was super easy to carry in and setup. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is the rachet machanism in the rachet straps is a little cheap and I will most likely be replacing it soon. Still, all in all, a great buy! I hunted with my friend in a double set and he used the stand. He ended up ordering 3 of them after one sit! ... show more

  • Great stand!
Tried the stand out in my back yard first where it got rained on then off to the woods. The quality of this product is great for such a low price! I had it hanging for a couple weeks, one week it snowed about 6" so that was a good test. I was only able to do two weekend extended sits in it before season ended. Unfortunately I have not shot a deer from this stand yet. Other than that I am very pleased with this stand, very easy setup and dosnt make any noise at all. If I had to complain about something it would be that there are some places the powder coat does not cover, so rust is a garuntee with bare metal and moisture. That is something I can fix myself and for next to nothing which is great when the stand is only $40! ... show more

  • this tree stand is great if you want the simple hang on tree stand ...
I have sat and hunted many different hang on tree stands. this tree stand is great if you want the simple hang on tree stand (nothing fancy about it), it has a larger platform considering the price. I am not affraid of climbing out on a limb and sitting on uncomfortable stands, even scary ones, I have done it to shoot the big buck. This stand is not that stand, it is sturdy and i feel secure considering I have room to move my feet and stand on the platform and wiggle to make a shot without the harness if need-be. This stand makes you feel secure for what it is. I weigh 200 lbs. I am a firm believe in you get what you pay for. This stand is a great deal for what you will use it for and that is why i rate it a 5. A 5 rating for what it is, yes it is not your luxury stand but for its purpose and design its great. It comes with two ratchet straps, the ratchet straps are not the easist to use when attaching it to the tree so i use one of theres and a regular ratchet I have to buy to solve this issue. ... show more

  • Bargain stand ...
This stand has a large platform which adds to the comfort and safety aspect of it. Unfortunately the manufacturer neglected to include one of the straps needed to suspend it from the tree. Regrettably, it took multiple phone calls over multiple weeks to get the missing strap. If you’re looking for a sturdy, roomy stand at a budget price this is a pretty good option. I paid 49.99 and when it went on sale for 44.99 two days later Amazon made good on it by giving me $5 credit. I augmented the ridiculously thin seat with a foam hunting seat which I cut to fit and attached with plastic locking ties. After a single season I’m detecting some rust on the platform so I will paint it with some rust proof paint prior to use next season. Caution - I do not view this as stand to be used for more than a few years. ... show more

  • great stand at a great value
For the money I can't find a better stand anywhere. It's a very lite weight stand, easy to get up and down a tree. It's easy to set-up and provides for plenty of length on the ratchet straps that come with it. Platform is plenty wide for you to maneuver around on as well. Seat cushion is probably the worst thing about the stand but I normally don't use a cushion anyway when I hunt. Seat is easy and quiet when raising/lower as well. I probably won't buy another hang-on stand other than this stand. Great value in my opinion!! ... show more

  • Lightweight, well priced, run&gun stand
is It a lone wolf comfy enough for all day sits? No. Is it an extremely well priced hang on stand that is perfect for short morning/evening sits or a public land run&gun set up? You bet! Be sure to buy additional ratchet straps. The ones that come with it are pretty weak. They’ll do for a season, but any more and they’ll have issues. I have 2 and left one out all year last year with a little bit of rust. Quick rustoleum touch up and ready to roll. ... show more
