I got it for product photography. Definitely, definitely sheds like most reviews have stated. The material/fabric is stiffer than I expected but, of course if it’s going to be laid flat that doesn’t too much matter.

I originally purchased this to use inside a massive dough bowl to create a faux moss centerpiece but it was way too messy. I did, however, rinse it off thoroughly to help eliminate some of the flocking that sheds like crazy. I let it dry in the sun, cut it into pieces, and found it to be a perfect topcoat inside my open terrarium. It may not last long (I’ve only had it a couple months) but it makes a nice dressing to help hide the soil, and cut down on the splashing that would typically happen when watering the plants. It’s quite realistic in appearance. I would have given it five stars, but took off one point for how messy it was. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase. Great price! ... show more

This piece of green poly plastic has a ton of colored flakes that shed all over anything near it. I don't know what anyone would do with this besides set it in one spot and NEVER touch it, It is cheap looking and bright green. I threw it away about 15 minutes after I opened the bag. This is exactly what I was looking for, for my fairy garden I have in a dirt filled bird bath. It looks real and the added flake colors and the fact that you can see what looks like dirt around the moss areas makes it look even more real. The only valuable suggestion I would make for the seller is to send it in 'rolled' form instead of 'folded form so that you don't see creases/folds in it but i'm hoping over time the creases/folds will disappear. ... show more

Does it look good? Sure.. it looks better the further you are from it.. Omg unpacking this.. total nightmare. Tiny green fibers flying up all over as I unwrapped it..
