Came in two halves so there is a tiny gap in the middle. Small and unnoticeable with the mousepad that comes with it. The led is nice and bright.     • Poor and Inadequate Top Shelf Design

The top shelf of this desk is extremely flawed. The metal support rods have to be affixed ever so tightly, or they end up coming loose. The method of securing the two portions at the center with dowel rods is a horrible design. Mine ended up snapping during installation. I repaired it by adding two metal joining plates on the bottom side. The top shelf is also not deep enough to accommodate any modern large display. You will find that the monitor legs extend out over the edges of the top shelf. The included headphone hanging brackets are a nice touch. If you’re looking for a serious gaming desk to accommodate a desktop computer, and especially if you want to use a large ultra wide display or more than one monitor, I would look elsewhere. ... show more

Pros: - You can choose where you want the hooks to go/what direction you want them facing. - You stick the LEDs wherever you want them (or leave them off if you don't care). - You can pick which direction you want the USB and outlets to "face." - The giant mouse pad is cut at the same curvature as the edge of the desk. (Minor) Cons: - I accidentally screwed a screw too far into the shelf and cracked the surface, but my iMac sits right on top of it, so it's never seen. - I don't know why I expected it to come in one piece, but it came in a box INSIDE ANOTHER BOX, and the desk top and shelf were both two pieces. The giant mousepad covers it up, and my iMac sits on top of the middle post, so it doesn't matter as far as weight distribution goes, but... it's not what I expected.
