*See the pics* (3 of 4 photos are after installation, the before photo is with the driver door open) 2014 Camaro 3.6L V6 RS 2LT package, in photos This lip splitter/spoiler/air dam aftermarket trim piece is a great option to consider adding to your ride. Please note that this product specifically works for the V6 bumper alone, NOT for the V8 models. With that said, the actual install was quite simple and the product was cheaper than on AmericanMuscle.com but still of good quality. Hardware is included and is enough for the installation but I would encourage buying a few more at your local hardware shop. Let's break it down below... FYI: Most products that are manufactured, like this one, usually come packaged very well but a little bit greasy. That's okay, in fact, it's better if it is. This proves that the product was stored properly and won't be brittle from heat damage when doing install. Prep: I'd recommend using alcohol cleaner (or acetone) to remove the factory greasy residue first. I also chose to do a light sanding by hand, which I would recommend especially if you're going to paint it. If you decide you want to do paint, use a very fine piece of sanding paper or a 3M sanding square for the sanding process. No need to go heavy on it. Make sure to sand the entire top half and face of the splitter. I painted mine with Rust-oleum black PRIMER. It'll match up better with the factory black grills AND it's very forgiving with overspray/drips. Just add a few light coats with 6 min of dry time in between coats, recommend doing this out in the sun so it dries really good. For those of you who would rather pull it right out of the package and install it, I would encourage that you take the extra 30 min and 15 bucks to just paint it up. It's so easy, and looks WAY better! Also, if you have the economy wind screen (the black strip under the front bumper) you'll need to remove that. It's held up by black pins that you can pop out with a screw driver and on each end there is one screw (keep these two screws, you'll need them!!). Installation: It would be a good idea to have a friend or family member help out with this part, or have some boxes or 2 small jacks to hold up the splitter to the front bumper. Keeping that in mind, situating it should actually be quite simple when determining where you wanna bolt it in since the product has perforated hole marks (for the most part) and one main mount for screws on each end. To make your life easier, use the screws that held up the wind screen strip to bolt up both ends of the splitter to the bumper first. Then you can adjust it more to an exact fit to the body of your car. Take your time screwing in the hardware and pay very close attention when screwing in the front. You'll want to screw (at least 3 screws spaced evenly) in the front to give it more stability too. Be aware that you don't have the front mounted screws showing through the top where everyone can see it. Do your best to see where you'll want the screws to go through before piecing a hole through. And that's pretty much it! *I did get some extra hardware from Ace so I could screw in the corners for extra strength but whatever you're preference is. I just like to make sure it's secure* Final thoughts: Great and simple product, one piece and easy installation, reasonable amount of hardware provided (recommend going to your local hardware store for 2+ more screws for a stronger hold) PLEASE use a drill gun (to save yourself from wrist cramps) but go SLOWLY. When finished, go back and tighten by hand/screwdriver for a snug fit. Additional notes: For the beginner car enthusiasts, this is a great choice for face lifting the look of your car but also for performance (albeit slight). Splitters like these are intended to help downward force for better traction but also air flow to your air intake. The 2014 Camaro is designed to pull air from the bottom grill (more than from the top one) so the splitter is a big help by scooping air up through the lower grill. The more cooler (natural) air your car can get, the better. Splitters like this one are great to pair with new cold air intake installs as well, but that's a whole other subject 🤣 *If anyone would like more recommendations that pair well with the splitter and this model, let me know, thanks!* ... show more

    • Looks good but that is it.
Splitter looked good. Does not fit perfectly on RS models. Was doing some competitive driving once I hit 110 it decided to fly off. I even added extra hardware. So if you just want your Camaro to look good it’s worth it. If you want it to add down force at high speeds pay extra for a good one.
