The pots set arrived dented when I opened it. Ok its a camp set, but I would have liked to dent it from my own use not UPS/factory abuse. It nests neatly and fits great in my camp tote and on my stove. When I store it in its mesh bag, I put a koozie over the handle interface to keep it from snagging in the mesh which it does and it’s annoying. Boiling water is noticeably longer than my titanium kits at similar altitudes. Overall its a keeper, but keep those expectations on a the low side.

Wanted a stainless set I could put through the wringer and still count on. This set is great. Pretty well polished so stuff doesn't stick much. Cleans up easy and packs down to fit in a small space. Not so light weight but light enogh that I choose this set over my aluminum every time.

I took this set for a spin on a 4 week camping road trip across the US. It was used on several occasions and cooked a couple different types of meals. Note - we were car camping. So we had plenty of space available to store this set. It is a little bit bulky (as expected for a large boiling pot) - so I wouldn't recommend it for backpacking. The pots heated up VERY quickly (faster than any other equipment I've used in the past) which was a delight to not have to spend extra fuel heating up a thick pot. They nestle nicely into each other and stay quiet when being transported (they don't bang around and make noise - important for long road trips across bumpy/washboarded roads). If I could make one suggestion - I would ask they actually do a large pot, a small pot and a pan vs. the large pot, Medium/large pot, and the pan. We found ourselves cooking very small amounts of food in a rather large pot often because the size difference between the two pots really isn't that big. I really don't see myself using the larger of the two pots very often and I would much rather have a smaller pot option for quick, easily cleaned roadside meals. Overall - very happy with the purchase!

I don't usually bother with reviewing products until I have used them, but in this case, I need to help make people aware of an error on the manufacturer's part. They advertise everywhere (website, here on Amazon, and even on THE PACKAGING) that this set comes with a 9 Inch pan. It is in fact an 8inch pan. Usually this wouldn't be that big of deal, but this stuff isn't cheap for Camping gear, and I expect them to provide what they advertise. so. If you aren't bothered by that, by all means, go for it - seems like a nice set. But for those that expect to get what they pay for - BEWARE. I have not tried this set, as I was disappointed. I even reached out to GSI to confirm this wasn't a slip-up on packaging. They confirmed it is only an 8" pan in the medium set, despite their advertising.

These pots and pans are EXCELLENT! My wife and I were looking around for a set to take camping with us and we looked everywhere on Amazon for a set that had just what we needed without being too expensive. GSI isn't exactly known for making cheap things I know but this was totally worth the money! It is lightweight, extremely durable, and heats evenly and quickly. We used these for a variety of things from cooking rice, to oatmeal, to veggies, and it was great! It isn't nonstick so make sure you bring a little bit of oil with you on your camping trip. We also love how this stores away because everything nests easily in/on the big pot and then gets put in the little carrying bag. Great little thing to have on your base camp.

Bought this for our camper so space was not a primary consideration. I like that the frying pan has a thick bottom so the heat is more evenly distributed. The draining holes on the lids worked great when I drained cooked pasta and the rubber on the lid keeps it in place. Only cooking for 2 so the size of the pans works. If I was cooking for a larger group I would probably need additional pans.
