Great tool. Instructions on loading staples is WRONG. Had me going bonkers! Staples Jammed when loaded legs downward and very hard to remove the loaded staples. Once I decided there was no way it could staple being loaded per instructions and inserted staples “legs facing upward” it works. I spent over an hour trying to unjam those staples loaded ‘per instruction’ & I was ready to return the tool. Frustrating printed error

The staples and tape jam on every other click and tie. I spent more time trying to fix the the product than I actually spent tying plants. It is not very sturdy at all and falls to pieces very easily. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Great product. It took me a bit to figure out what I was doing wrong. You have to do a “soft catch” click before the actual “staple” click before each use. But once I realized what I was doing, wow! Super easy and huge time safer. What the how to video in slow motion, pretty cool.

I thought the item broke and wasn’t catching the tape. Set up an exact age and tried it one more time before sending it back. Turns out the tape needs to be going inward, towards the handle, in order for it to catch. After learning this I checked one that my husband bought me for Christmas that I thought was broken and same issue. Adjusted the tape and it works too! Now I have 2 of them. If you think yours is broken like I did then just make sure the tape is aligned right. It does get misaligned easily which is annoying but the usefulness of the tool makes up for it.

I like this contraption. It does jam from time to time. It was easy to use right out of the box. But when it does pick up the tie on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd try, then jams, it becomes a bit frustrating. When it works, it is great. It quickly ties back the branches. Looks like there is enough tape and extra staple to last for a number of years since I will be only using it for a backyard garden.
