Used these 4" staples to anchor down Halloween animal skeletons in the front yard this year, so they would be less likely to "walk off". Our soil is dry and slightly sandy, so they didn't have as much pull-out resistance as I would have liked. Next year I will get the 6" staples, as the once cheap "fun" animal skeletons are getting more expensive every year!
