I will say this—it is conductive and does the job it’s supposed to do. The downside is that it's not comfortable to lay on. It’s a bit itchy and rough, which might be hard to avoid if you want something to be properly conductive. I’ve tested numerous grounding products, and many don’t have true conductivity when tested. This one, however, is fully grounding and does what it’s supposed to do. Outside of that, there are other ways to use it. It’s a solid, durable mat that seems like it can last. I set it up under my chair where I relax and read before bed, allowing me to place my bare feet on it and get the same grounding effect. You could also lay on it briefly before bed, but I wouldn’t recommend sleeping on it all night due to the discomfort. You will definitely get the grounding effects with this mat—100%. In terms of size, it’s great for a small twin bed, but not ideal for a larger bed. However, you don’t need to use it on a bed. As I mentioned, there are plenty of other ways to benefit from it.

I have used other grounding products, but this is the first bed ground mat I have gotten. I first started out with a ground bracelet with the normal grounding cord. The cord was a pain, and my cat wanted to play with it. Not to mention that it was weird being teethered with a cord in bed. That was the end of that for use in my bed. So this was a welcome change. I do put in under my sheet, although I think most sleep directing on this mat. I have great results with it under the sheets. I chose to put it under them, again do to my fur baby cat. She lays beside me and apparently didn't like the feel! The price was great compared to other comparable products. It seems to be a durable product. I highly recommend it to anyone new at grounding, as well as seasoned vets!

The grounding mat includes a grounding wire, a receptacle outlet tester, and a conductivity testing pen. The receptacle outlet tester allows me to check if an outlet is properly grounded. It also helps me identify outlets that are incorrectly installed or lack a proper ground connection. If the outlet is grounded, I can connect the grounding wire to the mat. Next, I press the conductivity testing pen against the mat with both its copper contacts touching the surface. When the pen lights up, it confirms that the mat is properly grounded. With this done, I can attach the mat to my mattress. The mat comes with elastic bands to hold it tightly in place, so it won’t shift while I’m sleeping.

The size is nowhere near what the description says! I could maybe fit my hand on this mat but definitely NOT anything else. Do not recommend this mat!

I love to walk around barefoot and never realized that going barefoot helped with grounding. I put this mat on the bottom of my bed on top of the fitted sheet and made sure using the included tool it was grounded. Research suggests you might feel side effects such as a headache or nausea when using a ground mat but I felt nothing. I have used the mat nighty for the last 3 months and feel that I have been sleeping more soundly. I am not sure yet if the reason is the mat but will continue to use it, keep a record of how it makes me feel, and update my review in the future. I would imagine the results will be dependent on the reason why you want to try the mat. I did not find much current scientific research on how grounding mats work.
