I just didn't want creepy crawly things coming from underneath the deck up on to my patio and there was about an inch opening along the edge by the patio (because of the leveling). Covered it with this and it's working great... so far. It would also work great inside the house after being put to the test for a month or more of severe storms, flooding, and high winds. We've had some torrential downpours for days on end and it is still in tact and hasn't budged. This product was very easy to install. The glue was strong with adherence to our screen door. Also easy to measure and cut to size for our door. There are similar products out there with the same price but only one door sweep. The second door sweep will be installed to another door this week. Make sure you measure and cut before you install. If you need to trim it after installation it will be a lot more challenging. I tried to trim a small amount after installation and the material is pretty firm and will not be sucessfully cut straight. ... show more

I bought these because I have a front entry gate into a walkway leading to my front door. EVERY TIME the wind blows, my entry way gets filled with leaves. I finally decided to try to do something about it and bought this to stick to the bottom of my gate. I was a little worried because I know these were meant for indoor use, but I've had this stuck on the bottom of my gate for a couple months now and it's right where I first put it. We had a large gap at the bottom between our wood door and the storm door. Because of this spiders, leaves, drafts, and moisture got through. Mold started forming on the wood door and along the frame. Once these shields were placed on both sides of the storm door, we no longer have moisture, bugs or drafts. So this does as advertised! Having a door with gaps in between the frame and the closed door I can definitely feel a draft going through I I bought a set of these and stuck one at the bottom as shown and one on the side to cover up the gap. You can pretty much stick it any way you'd like and they are easy to cut. I had a door draft stopper that had the foam roll design but wasn't as effective as these. The only caveat to these is that if you have carpet it makes it a tad harder to open and close it since it rubs on the carpet but it's nothing of a inconvenience. Simple packaging, baggy with barcode. Came with two, was a little skeptical because they were bending before I installed but I tried to flatten them and the one I did install looks great. My new places front door had a bend its original door weather strip and I was able to hear alot outside and also we were having a straight up stream of cold air from it as well, and this thing did the trick, no draft at all, really good adhesion, sound proof by covering the gap, and it has a great overall look. Great rubber quality. Could easily use commercially too. Peel & stick, so easy. The tacky end is 1" to press on door. Bottom lip is just shy of 1". Total length is just shy of 2". Cuts easy w scissors. I cut mine to sweep floor so no bugs can get under my door.
