Been working the cube life for the last few years and aside from feeling like a chained dragon or some other mythical majestic creature I hate when people just walk up behind me especially those trying to be nosey. For my fellow cube workers a mirror to see what's coming up behind you is a must have even as a safety measure for those who sit with their backs to a door. That is something I personally do not like whether in public or at work. So if you have a manager that floats around or snitching coworkers who like to butt snorkel the manager by ratting everyone else out for brownie points get yourself a mirror. I recommend resting the mirrored side down on a cloth while (and not your desk) while prepping it for application (to avoid scratches.) I didn't want to stick it permanently to my desk, so I glued it to a piece of foam board and used a strong clip magnet. The back of the mirror is flat, so you will need to get creative if you want it angled a specific way. It is reasonable for the ammount of money I spent. ... show more

These work great, don't break, and don't corrode. However, the two-sided tape only lasts a year or so, then they will fall off. I hold them on permanently with dabs of silicone adhesive. The tape holds them in place while the adhesive hardens. Put the adhesive on the outer edges so you can remove the mirrors later using a thin steak knife inserted between the old mirror and the back of the spot mirrors. I put these on my back seat head rests to reflect high beams back at people. Works like a charm. They either back off a good 8 car lengths back or get mad and go around. The best part? If the driver behind you is only using their low beams, the light will not reflect back at them and they are completely legal as long as they do not block your view. Mirror has good clarity but the aluminum backing to hold mirror us cheap and not great quality. The mirror is only held on the left and right curved side by crimping the sides but not on the straight top/bottom side. Dirt accumulates easily in the crevices and if you use a rag to clean mirror it hangs up on the frame. Walmart has a same size mirror embedded in a black ABS mount that goes all the way around. I put these on all my vehicles. Perfect size. Big enough to see everything but still leave you some room for the factory view. You don’t have to turn your head with this. Height wise you see from the bottom of the rear wheel on your vehicle to the roof of the vehicle next to you. Also the field of view is almost 90 degrees! You see back down your vehicle and then out to the side almost perpendicular. Makes merging into traffic and parking so easy. Great for security or safety if you sit in your car a lot because you can see anyone coming behind and to the side of you. The glass is very clear. I put this up outside on the door jam because when I let the dog out to do their business, I cannot see the dog without having the wide-angle mirror to view when they are near the house. Some people have asked if the convex shape is just wide on this almost rectangular, horizontally oriented mirror, or if it is like the circular ones. Answer: It is definitely like the circular convex mirrors. In fact, it looks to me like these mirrors start out as circular, and then have the top and bottom cut off to make them more rectangular. If you turn the mirror a quarter turn so it is longer vertically, you don't see any distortion like you would if it was only wide angle in one direction. The mirror I got is definitely made of glass, but it is very lightweight glass. The two pieces of double-stick foam tape on the back are plenty large to hold up this light mirror, but they are not very sticky. I hope it will stay up in the wind. Where I stuck it is somewhat protected, so I hope it will be OK. The amount of convex is significant. If the mirror is too far away from your face, what is reflected in the mirror gets pretty darned small. As long as you're using it in a location where you can be within one or two feet from it, it's a good balance of just big enough to see, but as small as possible. ... show more
