These are extremely well built but one thing I noticed was they feel a bit unbalanced unless you are holding them both in the exact same position. That issue might be unavoidable with adjustable dumbbells. Beware on your VERY first few times of pulling them off the rack, because they are brand new there may be some microscopic burrs on the plates that could stick to eachother which could slightly grab the next plate up. Be sure to adjust the setting several times and pull them off the rack an inch or two to wear off all the burrs. I contacted grit support about the issue and they were extremely helpful. I am overall very happy with the purchase.

Originally was going with BowFlex or NordicTrack however after looking at reviews I saw GRIT cheaper and still high quality. Have used them for about 3 weeks now and they do the job. As you adjust to lower weight levels the remaining plates can sometimes get stuck but honestly I don't mind. Easy to fix and do the exercise. They do not move much when doing the exercises and really do the job of 5 sets. Will see how durable they are after a year or 2 but as of now they are a great addition to a work from home office dad in this Covid-19 area.

Received them today and just finished my first workout with them. They are exactly what I was hoping they would be. I was actually a bit nervous since I couldn't find anything on the company selling these outside of this product on Amazon. The vendor shipped them the day after my order and I received them within a week (from west coast to east coast). The product itself is easy to use and exactly what you expect. The grip is nice and they feel well balanced. I was wondering what the actual design was too since I didn't see a knob to turn like many of the other adjustable dumbbells, but you actually just spin the handle which is super convenient and easy!

It took me a long time to decide on a set of quality adjustable dumbbells. These seemed to be well designed and easy to adjust. One of the handles was damaged in shipment, but the GRIT responded to my query immediately and shipped a new handle when it was determined to be damaged in shipment. The dumbbells are solid and seem to be well built...if not dropped by UPS! Easy to use and simple to adjust weight. I would buy again.

I’m so happy to have these! A must have if your building has closed the fitness center or your gym is closed down. Few other dumbells (I found none) of this type offer this much weight and in a pair. You should know, the weight increments are 11 lbs, which is fine for me. You’ll notice most other max out at 25 lbs and you only get one. This set more than doubles that. I just got them today, hope my review is not premature, but so far I love them!

Just received a set yesterday. Shipping was perfect in that there was no damage to the items, which are quite heavy as a pair shipped in two separate but taped together boxes. Unboxing was easy and love the ease of set up and use. Only downside is that they are quite big even when on 11 lbs, and you may want a regular sized dumbbell for free weight exercises when the size of the weight matters. Otherwise, these are great.

These weights are beautifully designed and operate flawlessly. A simple twist of the handle sets the amount of weight to be lifted. My only issue is that the weights can only be adjusted in 11-pound increments.

After doing hours of research and reading many boring articles I was set on either Power Blocks or the Bowflex adjustable dumbells. I'm so glad I stumbled upon these. You simply twist the grip to your desired weight between 11lbs and 55lbs and pull straight up. That's it, you have your weights set and are ready to rock! Thoroughly inspected upon arrival and all is perfect. Arrived sooner than expected as well, will certainly support these guys again.
