Couldn't use hardware due to my smoker having a fixed threaded nut
I love it. Works like it should. Hardware didn't work but I was able to use the oem parts.

Pimped Out Expert Pellet Grill
I love this thing. I bought an Expert brand grill for a clearance price at Walmart. It didn't have a smoker stack and I wanted one, so I bought this. Inexpensive, high quality, easy to install. My first smoked projects; chicken, pork ribs, beef brisket all turned out great first time. I'm gonna leave now and get tenderloin steaks for July 4th.

Fits Pit Boss Classic 700
Everything fits perfectly for the Pit Boss Classic 700. The 2 holes are slightly larger than the 2 screws but that gives you some wiggle room for adjustments. The gasket that it comes with is a fiberglass type gasket so I would recommend wearing gloves when handling it. I googled where to keep the umbrella and it seems to be more based on preference but a lot say to keep it wide open. I chose to keep the umbrella about half way on the bolt and seems to work well. I will have to say Amazon dropped the ball on this order as they shipped me the wrong part and when they sent the correct part, it was in a thin padded bag. The smoke stack was wrapped once with the small bubble wrap and the umbrella and the lip was slightly bent due to not enough packing material. I didn't really want to mess with sending it back again so I decided to use some pliers and bend things back. I hope others don't have the same issue with this part.

Works as described, easy to install, great customer service.
Update: Been using this smoke stack for about a week and can say that my smoker holds temps within 5 degrees, which is an improvement from 20 degrees without the stack. Also the seller reached out to me and sent me a new stack to replace the damaged one, very good customer service on their part. Nice looking smoke stack, got it for a Masterbuilt pellet smoker. easy to install.

Better temperature control.
I've owned a Pit Boss 700 for a couple of years and love it. This should have been original equipment. I read the reviews about holding a steadier temperature and thought I would take a chance. I am glad I did. Great for smoking. I did my first brisket and it worked great. Will recommend to others.

Could be a little thicker
Stack was shipped in thin Chinese cardboard and arrived with parts sticking out through the side. The mounting flange was bent. Luckily I was able to straighten it without cracking the paint. Speaking of paint, the inside is not really painted. Just some minor overspay at best. I had to paint he inside. It did fit my Pit Boss Austin XL perfectly. Holes lined up. I would recommend using the original hardware if you have it. The topper is also very thin and can bend easy. The threaded shaft is smaller diameter than the original as well so can’t reuse your old one. Over all it is cheaper than buying the factory one so I guess you have to expect some short comings. A lot would be fixed by simply using a better box.
