If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive. * These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I needed a microwave for my home kitchen that could handle larger dishes and wouldn't break down after a year. I figured a commercial unit would be built better than the residential models I've burned through. Likes: * The build quality on this is exceptional. The stainless steel is thick and the door closes with a weight that makes it feel like it will last decades. * The interior is 0.9 cubic feet, which is enough space to fit a 9x13 casserole dish with room to spare. The flatbed design means I don't lose any of that space to a turntable. * I measured the width and it came in at exactly 20.5 inches, which matched the listing and fit perfectly in the spot I had for it. * The programmable memory settings let me save specific power levels and times for things I heat frequently. I programmed one for reheating coffee at 50% power and another for defrosting chicken breasts, and now I just hit one button instead of entering it every time. * The controls are simple. There's no touchscreen nonsense or confusing menu system. You punch in the time and power level and press start. * I reheated a plate of lasagna and the heating was very even across the entire plate, which I attribute to the ceramic bottom and the flatbed design distributing the microwaves better than a turntable would. So far this microwave has been a tank. The lack of a turntable is pretty standard in commercial microwaves in my experience, and in my opinion they always seem to just cook more evenly. This one definitely seems to deliver on that too! The food heats very evenly, and it cooks very accurately every time. It is decently heavy for a microwave, but it's definitely not the heaviest I have seen for a commercial one. I normally associate weight with quality, but I know that isn't always the case! It's insanely easy to use too. I mean, it's a microwave. It has a Power Level button, of course. It has an X2 button for doubling or simply repeating the previous cook time. It has multiple programmable memory modes with the Prog button, a Stop button, and well, Start. It doesn't have a ton of the fancy stuff. It's just a solid microwave with the basic features you want. Measurement-wise, it seems to be accurate based on the description. It is about 20.5" wide, 17.3" deep, and 12.3" tall. Overall though yeah, it's a tank of a microwave, and it heats very well.     • Great replacement for the break room microwave.
My brother and I run a small business with a handful of younger guys working for us and somehow they absolutely destroyed our last microwave. Not even going to get into how, but it was time to get something a little more heavy duty. This one definitely feels like a step up. I’m not exactly sure what all goes into “commercial grade,” but this thing is heavy and feels solid, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign for durability. So far it’s been holding up great. The guys like it because it’s simple to use and heats things up fast, no messing around. It’s also easy to clean which matters because they somehow manage to coat the inside with food on a regular basis. Overall I think this was a good call and should last us a lot longer than the last one. Perfect for a breakroom that sees a lot of use. ... show more

This microwave oven is a very simple basic commercial kitchen microwave for any use case. It has a very industrial off brand look to it. Ngl I do not like the look of this microwave at ALL but it functions very well as one. The microwave has a lot of space inside to place huge food items in. But it's at the expense of size and bulk of the microwave. I would say it has fair durability. It looks like it's made of steel but the paneling feels flimsy. A question of durability and safety could be come up but I see no problems with it so far. It microwaves at various high heat levels, per usual for a microwave. Paired up with the large cubic space interior you can heat up lots of food. For the money, I do think this microwave brings a lot of value to the table (literally). Overall, I'm gonna rate this 4 stars. It works just fine as a microwave, but has fair build quality and an industrial look. I recommend it if you REALLY NEED a microwave oven and don't care about those aspects. ... show more

This little microwave does the job! It’s about the same size as a regular, smaller microwave, but it’s pretty heavy. Probably 3 times heavier than most cheapo microwaves. That’s definitely a sign that it’s built differently than the others. It’s a smaller commercial-style microwave, and you can program the controls to do different things. If you’re in business and want to use it to heat everything at once, this would be a good choice. A microwave cooks things, whether it costs $50 or $300. There isn’t much difference in cooking food; all microwaves perform very similarly. This microwave is built for heavier use. The construction feels solid, the buttons are easy to program, and it’s designed for commercial use. If you are just looking to heat leftovers at home, a cheaper microwave works fine. But if you are looking for something tough, programmable, and meant to last in your business, this is going to be a good pick ... show more
