I use this for an actual closet in my room since it don't have one. It seemed flimsy when I was putting it together, but once it was all set up, it's pretty sturdy. I have my shirts hung up and the shelves work well for the rest of my clothes. I tried all types of heavy things on the shelves and they seemed to hold up really well. First of all assembly of this cabinet is exceedingly frustrating. Several of the holes refused to line up and I question the use of regular screws as opposed to sheet metal screws which is what the cabinet is made of. Having said that the end result is worth the effort. The cabinet is very spacious and sturdy. The shelves can be adjusted in almost unlimited configuration. Well worth the money. Would have been 5 stars if not for the non-aligning holes but if you have at least a drill its an easy fix. To the company who designed this if you switched to sheet metal screws your assembly reviews would be much more positive.

The cabinet sold for a fair price, the assembly instructions were simple to follow and I had no damage to any of the components as some others have reported. I don’t know about the shelves holding up to the advertised weight because I wasn’t trying to store gold bouillon Our concrete blocks. All my automotive fluids and special tools fit into the shelves that I had easy adjustment to space for the best fit. This cabinet replaced two older metal cabinets that were not as tall or as deep so having one cabinet is a much better option for me and it looks great.

I have put together several of these metal cabinets and absolutely love them. They're usually super simple and a great value. But this one was terrible. It came very some damage. Not a big deal. But the screw driver it came with stripped after a few screws. Again, not a big deal. I have tools on hand. The screws seem too big for the hole they're going in. It's not wanting to stay together. I have absolutely no hand space to put this thing together and quiet honestly it's frustrating. If it wouldn't be such a hassle to take apart and send back I would definitely do such.

Update 7/4/23: Forgot to update my review after I finished building the cabinet. I’ll keep my original review at the bottom but try to streamline the top with a tldr. In all putting this together was a pain. The instructions themselves weren’t too difficult to follow but the actual metal panels were quite flimsy and the screws they come with don’t screw in well to hold everything in the right place. The result is some holes become misaligned and you just have to hope for the best that you can get the screw mostly to work. You definitely need to secure this to a wall and the wall screws they give aren’t the best either. I had to buy my own self screwing ones since I don’t own a drill and the ones they give you require you to have one. Once screwed with everything else in place it does the job at holding things at least. I haven’t had it give out on me yet so that’s good. The company reached out to me too to try to get a replacement/return but I opted not to respond seeing as I honestly cannot go through the hassle of disassembling it and putting it back in its large box. But I appreciate that they made an effort to contact me so I’ve bumped up the stars from one to three (since it DOES hold my stuff). -Tldr- Cons: -flimsy metal panels and tiny screws that screw on in a weird angle make this hard to assemble properly -Instructions are okay but only drawings no text -NEED to be secured to a wall with screws so if you can’t put holes in your wall then look for a different cabinet -NEED drill for the wall screws. Otherwise you must buy your own self drilling screws. Pros: -once secured to a wall it does the job of holding a lot of things -shelves relatively easy to adjust -customer service seems attentive -it’s probably one of the cheapest options for this type of product Original Review: I’ve never felt the need to make a review while in the middle of assembling the product but by god is this such a poorly made one I cannot for the life of me recommend this. For starters the box was damaged on one end and very poorly taped back together that it almost feels like I might have gotten a return. I noticed there were dents in some of the metals panels and they’re quite flimsy to boot. The screws they give you do a bad job at actually keeping the thing together. It’s not a tight or secure fit. I’m only halfway through and I’m scared of having to stand it up because it might just all fall apart. The pieces don’t even fit flush against each other. You’re better off just super glueing the whole thing. Unfortunately I don’t have that much glue at my disposal nor the time to wait for it to dry. So I shall continue to put this together and will come back to update this comment with my final thoughts. But already I know I will NOT be bothering to take this with me if I move out. I got it to free up space and organize my items. At this point I’m not even sure if I can trust it to hold anything up for a good amount of time ESPECIALLY NOT heavy objects. God I wish I just spent a little more cash to get a better metal cabinet. You really do get what you pay for.

This is a quality cabinet. We have two in our garage we use as an extra pantry space. It fits tight so bugs and rodents can’t get in. It can lock if you want it to. Assembly takes a little while, but isn’t that hard. Once put together it is still light enough to move, but is pretty solid. Holds a good amount of stuff. If I had the space, I’d probably by another one.

I love my new metal storage cabinet! I’m using on on my covered back patio for storing my yard stuff. Instructions were easy to follow and all parts were there. Instruction say it takes two people to put it together, but I did it by myself.
