To me, that is catastrophic but luckily my husband didn't seem to need directions in order to assemble. That said, it took a bit longer than expected without a guide. First. The instructions on the pin for the doors and the metal you bend up to hold pin in could be better. Image in all three instructions were faint so I couldn’t see it. I managed to figure it out on my own. With that said…..I really love the cabinets! I highly recommend buying the wheels with them. Makes it easy to wheel them around the garage without having to unload them. Helps when I’m working on projects. Also, doors could use magnets to latch doors to stay shut without having to use a key. This isn’t a huge deal. Just would be nice.

The cabinet went together pretty easily. The instructions were all graphics but fairly easy to follow. The list of parts in the kit showed a couple of parts intended to fasten the cabinet to the wall that were not included in the package I received, but I didn't need them anyway for my purposes. Once I had the cabinet assembled I discovered it rolled very easily (even when full). The gauge of the metal panels is a little too thin so the individual panels flex and feel flimsy, but the cabinet as a whole has good structural integrity. Locking and unlocking requires a bit of key jiggling to get the key inserted all the way. The cabinet was on the lower end of the price range so I'm not too surprised the finished product is underwhelming. OK for the price. I think next time I'd pay a little more for a more durable product.

Don’t expect high quality if you’ve put together a cheap metal file cabinet expect the same quality i dont plan to put too much weight on them so they will do for me instructions are a bit vague but manageable the packaging was great. So. Much. Foam. Not a bad thing but expect a lot of cardboard and foam packing clean up id buy again for 90 bucks a pop but be aware they are cheap thats what your paying for they are not luxury furniture also the cotter pin to hold the latch assembly they give you was too big luckily i had other ones in smaller sizes so take note of that and prepare accordingly

I ordered three cabinets and all were damaged to some degree (scratches and small dents). One in particular was very damaged but I didn't fully notice until I had it built, one of the sides was warped and left a gap between the door and side. Customer service is quick but they will only replace parts so be very careful about quality checks before building; I made the mistake of filling my cabinet because I needed it quickly for inventory and now I have to take a day to empty it, dismantle the unit, replace the side, rebuild it, and then refill it once I receive the replacement side (hoping the new piece is not damaged). Cabinets are useful and easy to build but you get what you paid for.

The instructions could be better but with that said it's definitely a two person job but can be completed with no support ..sturdy yes if you use all the screws and follow instructions. The screws are slightly milled differently so get frustrated if a screw you selected will not screw in. The captain wheel was added decore glued on for a fish aquarium..I am definitely ordering another one very soon.
