This book made great house gardening feel very doable even though I was starting from scratch. I liked the step-by-step instructions for building and maintaining a greenhouse as it covered many things from airflow to a stormproofing. I bought this book because I already have a greenhouse and expected information about actually gardening in it. But I was disappointed because more than half the book was about building or buying greenhouses (and to boot, it didn’t really offer any plans for building one, just examples) even though it states that on the cover. Out of 23 chapters, only 8 were devoted to actual gardening. The book should have been titled, “Greenhouses and a Few Tips About Gardening”. I felt deceived by the title and I don’t recommend it for anyone looking for extensive information on greenhouse gardening. ... show more
