I put this together myself in under 1 hour, despite having unsteady hands. The instructions are picture based but easy to follow. All parts came labeled properly and the screws needed had 1 extra for each, just in case. The package had the tools needed for assembly as well, so I didn’t have to hunt through my husband’s tools for anything. The tower side of this desk is reversible so you can build it on either side of the main desk. There are black plugs to close the holes on the side you don’t use for the tower. This desk is sturdy, cute, and affordable! HOWEVER, when you’re putting the frame together, leave the screws a bit loose so you can fit the wood pieces in next. After the wood is in, you can tighten the rest of the screws. JUST A TIP!

I've been wanting to create a secondary PC setup for my retro gaming room (aka dining room) for months now and I needed a desk. I had a list of requirements, it had to be small (this is the 60 inch version) but had to have enough room for my PC as well as a place for my games and controllers. I also wanted it to be sturdy and match the aesthetic of the room. Nothing I found in the store met my needs and they were too expensive anyway. While I found a number of similar desks on Amazon, I found this one was a nice balance of size, functionality and price. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The instructions were clear and I had it assembled in 90 minutes without any help. Pay attention to the location of the holes and you'll be fine. Also, the shelf can be attached to either side, you'll need to decide which orientation before you begin assembly. The overall build quality is very good for the price range. I like the monitor stand (which is optional to install) as it helps optimize the most out of a small space. The wood and black metal go well together and it's surprisingly versatile.
