These get really bright like I need them. The ability to adjust the brightness on each light with remote is greatly helpful in creating scenes and ambiance in self tapes. I love having the carrying cases. There is nothing not like about these lights. I feel like I'm all set.

Super bright and has a wide variety of color options and has built in special effects like lightning and and candlelight. I really like that you can run it off a power cable or batteries which makes it really nice for on the go use. Would be nice if it came with a stand though.

The media could not be loaded. I work in photography and video, and I've used a lot of different lights. Before this light arrived, I had never heard of GreatLPT. I was dubious about its worth. It comes in a nice looking case with cut foam. The case fabric, zipper, and foam are not the highest quality and I doubt will last under heavy use. The light itself is much sturdier. The housing is metal except for the battery and control module. The LED area is roughly 8 inches by 6 inches. The box picture makes it look like the diffusion slides out, but it is fastened in place. Even with the diffusion this thing can get bright enough to hurt your eyes. I didn't measure the intensity, but it was stronger than I was expecting. I did measure the color temperature, which you can see in my pictures. I took a reading with the light set to 5600K and 3200K. It was really close to matching my meter. Side note, even expensive LitePanels don't measure perfect. I found the controls simple to use and easy to read. The RGB mode is fun. On the unit you can dial in the hue but it's a slow process. This is much easier on the phone app. The app really surprised me. I was expecting it to be sketchy and cheep. I was wrong. It is well designed and responsive. This RGB video light is an overall good value. I think it's something you can experiment with and decide if it's actually useful in your application. It's great at being a light, but nowadays just having a great light isn't enough at times. A good app and accessories may be required sometimes. This uses a generic app that can be downloaded by scanning the QR code on the instruction manual. It does not come with a tripod, which is absolutely necessary for many different types of shoots. Even with the light by itself though, you can do a lot. Personally, I mounted this using a $45 tripod, which you can consider to be an additional cost if you're starting with basically nothing. On top of that, NP-F batteries will run you an additional $40-$80 depending on the brand. I don't think this is a problem though, and the light still remains to be good value. It has tons of options for you to change the color, which I think is really accurate. It gets very bright compared to other smaller led panels that I've used. The effects seem quirky but they do work great if used in the right way. Overall, I absolutely recommend this for those that want a more serious light for any studio, youtube setup, or streaming setup. ... show more

Never heard of this company, but from the way that this light performs, I'll be looking out for what other affordable/budget friendly options they develop. The quality of the light is pretty great. From light output to build quality, it's solid. When the light is on, you can see the diodes at 1 percent and they look fairly unattractive. However, they don't cast a stack of shadows like other sources may do. The diffuser is quite lovely giving a nice even light. The barn doors are awesome and come in clutch to help control the spill and they also don't slip and slide. They stay put even in windy situations. Now here's some pretty cool news. The effects are really decent. Compared to offerings from Aputure, Neewer, Godox, and so on; these effects are pretty useful, including the worst ones like lightning, candle, fireplace, and faulty bulb. They each come with speeds to dial things in, giving the predictable effects a little more randomness. The option to go with wall power or Sony NP-F batteries is also clutch and makes the kit more versatile. This is a surprising uppercut and in some ways sets the standards for other lighting companies to pay attention to. Get this if you're in the market for an RGB LED panel light.
