This worked real wall for what I needed it for, basically to fill a pipe that is standing in the yard, holding one side of a dog run cable. The pipe has a hole in the end that I needed to fill with something so that I wouldn't have insects or other things creating nests, or homes inside the pipe. This black multipurpose foam worked really well in filling the hole. The only problem that I see is that it's basically a one time use, and even then it is only good for 30 days, as it says in the description. It was easy to use and stuck to the pipe very well. We basically spayed a bunch all down inside the pipe because I knew we wouldn't be able to use it on anything else within 30 days, and my experience with this kind of thing is that it solidifies inside the spray tube. This spray tube looked a little different than normal and may have had some protection against that, hence the 30 days. The color was perfect, matching the color of the pipe, so no complaints there. I basically had to chuck it after use. It took about 15 -30 minutes to dry. I let it set overnight and I was going to cut the excess off with a knife, but my daughter, being the helpful person she is, just went and pulled it off, so the finish is rough and not the nice smooth finish I wanted. Oh well, still good enough for what we needed it for so I can't complain too much. Saved me the trouble of getting my knife out and cutting it off, I suppose, and to be fair I never said out loud what my intentions were and her powers of mind reading seem to be as good a mine.... None-existent.

First time using this product to replicate stone cave for my paludarium. Once fully hardened, foam is very sturdy & hard to cut & remove if you change your mind on the set up. Feels like styrofoam. Smooth shiny black color. Once cut into form, appears charcoal in color & matted. 1 can dries in about 30 minutes or so. Better to wait an hour & cut to desired form, foam would be easier to work with VS days later when fully cured. 1 can wasn't enough to create a thick wall, so I ordered 4 more cans (from Home Depot--needed it ASAP). Smell wasn't even that strong. (Project finished outside) Tilt nozzle in the direction you want output or else foam will not come out consistently thick to cover surface, instead will be frothy like soap. USE ENTIRE CAN OR IT WILL HARDEN & CLOG NOZZLE Wish that a can would expand a lot more than it did, expansion was a bit less than I anticipated. (Maybe it was my first time & didn't spray properly) For my project, I preferred the cream color because it was easier to work with than this color which had weaker expansion & too glossy. Overall, I highly recommend using this for a project like mine VS using real rocks because your tank will be lighter in weight & overall easier to work with than gluing rocks.

Worked great, it dried and sealed fast. Expanded some but not a a crazy amount. Used it to seal around AC lines entering a house.

New dispenser can worked for three separate applications of foam sealer one day apart! Foam is not very "sticky" coming out of can until it starts to cure, making it harder to apply to underside surfaces. After 2 months of use sealing the underbelly of my RV it has held up very well.

The Great Stuff Smart Dispenser Multipurpose Black is a great option for those who need a black that blends in well with various surfaces. The foam expands to fill gaps and cracks, providing a durable and weather-resistant seal. I particularly appreciate the smart dispenser, which makes it easy to apply the foam in a controlled manner. However, I did encounter an issue with one of the cans, where I was only able to use half of the foam before it became clogged. Overall, the Great Stuff Smart Dispenser Multipurpose Black is a reliable product, but it's important to be aware that there might be occasional quality control issues.
