I get excited about paper products, I won't lie. Certificates don't usually place high on my list because for the most part, I feel they're decorated pieces of paper. These certificates, however, are much nicer than ones I've seen at most office supply stores. They're a thicker cardstock, embossed with gold foil, and honestly, much nicer than I was expecting. Oh! For printing purposes, the border is about 1.25" around the sheet so design your certificate accordingly. I just hope our recipients like them as much as I do. ... show more

It is a thick sturdy certificate. The only issue I have is that this is not black like shown in the pictures. It is more of a brown color.

These worked great for presenting our service anniversary awards! Printed very easily even with the raised gold foil. The paper is lightweight (about the weight of 2 or 3 sheets of standard printer paper), so if used as an award/recognition/certificate, I recommend presenting them in a frame/folder/etc. We used the black and gold Oxford Certificate Holders, Letter Size, Black, 5 per Pack (29900055BGD), and they looked beautiful - very professional and elegant. Calling this border 'black' is VERY generous. It's a Blue-Gray at best. I suppose this product is fine for a low-significance document. But if you're trying to create something high class/quality, i recommend selecting a different product.

These embossed, heavy-weight certificates are wonderful. They look great and come with clear instructions on how to format the certificate to meet your needs. I've used others in the past in my capacity as a board member for a volunteer organization that works with veterans, but these are beautiful and look very "polished" when printed. They also look great "on display" at the area businesses that have received them because of their support of our mission. The certificates aren't always easy to find in retail stores, so I was thrilled when I found them at Amazon.
